Doesn't retain water, so plants dry out almost instantly.
Even watering plants each day, they have all died within a few weeks. The soil becomes bone dry very quickly. I thought these pockets would retain some water, given the material it is made from. I was very excited to get this product, but I have to now throw it out, as it is no good. Maybe it would be a good display for artificial plants but does not work for live herbs or flowers.

Nice wall planter, easy to put up and lots of pockets for many different plants to turn an ugly wall into a living wall. Great, very pleased with it.
