- Heirloom LUFFA SPONGE GOURD Loofah Dishcloth 50 SEEDS Very Productive Mướp
- 60 days. This open pollinated gourd variety is also called Vegetable Sponge and Dishcloth Gourd because, once cured, skin can be peeled off to reveal a usable sponge! Vines need support or trellis. - First harvest is typically in 55 to 60 days. Average water needs. Water regularly, but don't over water. The fruit is edible only when immature and is cooked like zucchini. Plant in hills of 2-3 plants per hill at 60" - 72" (1.5-1.8m) apart, and 1" (25mm) below soil surface. Provide support for climbing vines.
