Very good device!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I got it, there's reviews of it eating tape or skipping, but I haven't had any issues in the time I had it. First, the only issues I had is that the buttons take some force to use and could be anchored a little better.Aside from that, it's a very good tape player. It's small and light enough to carry around, and big enough to have a good range and enough bass. The speaker works great, and it has a seek adjust on the radio so you don't have to fine tune the dial.It plays cassettes like it should, but be careful about half pressing the play button, that confused me at first. Press it all the way or your tape might need to be rewound, FYI.I hadn't touched a cassette tape since the Bush administration so it might be my own fault that it took me a bit to figure out how the recording works, but it's actually very simple. You can't press play and then record, you have to press stop and then only the record button. The speaker volume doesn't interfere with the recording, so you don't have to listen to what you're recording. If you switch it to Aux you can record from a 3.5mm jack, which means if you have a male to male cable you can record directly from your computer or phone, which is perfect for mixtapes or books on tape.It doesn't have a built in mic, and while I haven't tested it, I'm not sure if it accepts headphones. But still a great product. It's a radio, a speaker, and a tape deck all in one. It works great and I love it!

Studebaker Cassette player
The look is great, but the product is cheaply made with plastic. On top of that I play a cassette and the player starts making a loud noise. I quickly stored it back in bits box and returned it. I don’t recommend this at all.

Great radio/cassette recorder.
There was some thought that went into the features of this radio. Everything you need, nothing you don't. This radio is very easy to use and seems well built (time will tell). I purchased this radio recorder to tape my favorite morning radio show so that I could listen to it in the afternoon. It works perfectly for this. You can even turn the volume of the radio off while the recorder is recording so, as in my case it's in the next room, you don't hear the program until you re-wind it and listen to it. The cassette recorder seems to be a quality recorder and should last a long time (I hope). The entire radio has a nice hefty feel to it. I looked at a lot of radio/cassette recorders (some much more expensive) before deciding on this one. This seems like a good choice. In addition to the quality the radio looks good. Nice simple style that could fit in in many places. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Good cassette player
This cassette is very comfortable, convenient for elderly people. I bought it for my mother who 90 years old. She liked it so much due is light, simple, neat and easy to use.The sound was not bad for my mom (not me) who only needed treble sound to hear. Over all, it is worth for what you pay. I’ll recommend it to my friends

JUST EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED
Purchased this last year for my husband and it has already stopped working. The cassette recorder does not record and neither will it play tapes. Wish I had my money back. Very dis-satisfied.

Really disappointed. Do not recommend.
Lot of static. AC cord does not fit good. It is real loose and this is probably why all the static. I probably should send it back.

Get Out Those Old Cassette Tapes!
When you want something to play old cassette tapes from years ago; this is an inexpensive piece of technology to listen to what has been taped. I taped my daughter talking and singing when she was 2-3 years old; and haven't been able to listen to the tapes until I purchased this small cassette player.
