I scraped the tripod over the weekend and it is not carbon fibre!! This explains the weight, they are metal and finished to look like carbon fibre. After contacting Amazon I was offered a refund but as I need the tripod and use it all the time I opted to keep it. Very disappointing though and left feeling quite cheated!

It's tall and portable but the bag is very fragile and when it's windy you might have to attach a bag to the bottom

I have no idea why people have given this such a bad review, I've had it a short while now and it's done the job it was made for. I don't have a fancy heavy dlsr, but I've had no problems with the cameras I have used this with.I would recommend this product to anyone on a budget or not.

Great tripod and so much lighter than the one I'd been using. Needed it for holiday which was raod trip through the states. Lots of dark sky areas so tripod was essential and this performed really well. Would recommend

A mid pro tripod for your SLR camera/camcorder/phone.Feels well made apart from the pan handle bar feels thin and if you turned to lock in position too hard it would crack the plastic, if this had been made from rubber or heavier plastic or metal would have been better, it’s fine just don’t be rough with it. The stability is good and legs lock solid. Good for mid range, if you are semi pro or have pro gear you want something £80 plus.

I was really surprised at how good an tripod this was for the money I paid for it! Seems sturdy, very versatile and super lightweight! I really can’t fault it and I am really looking forward to getting out and using it to improve my vlogging and photo skills.
