This is an iron supplement that I have used for a very long time because it is easy on the stomach. To find it at the amazon price is great.

I love the price of this product. It works very well for me. I have to take this product daily as I have an issue absorbing nutrients from food. I will be ordering this product every four months for most likely the rest of my life.

If you're even looking at this product you presumably have anemia or have been told you're at risk for anemia. The dose is very high for anyone who does not have anemia. But if you have low ferritin levels, you have probably been told you will need to supplement with a lot of iron for a long time.These are easy to swallow and have minimal digestive effects, taken with or without food. If you have tried taking the more common and cheaper ferrous sulfate supplements you probably know how miserable those are once they dissolve. For me at least these have no significant stomach upset or side effects. I have also had good luck with ferrous glycinate, which is slightly different chemically but another option that's easier on the stomach. This specific product is cheaper though and has twice as much iron per pill, so it's an obvious first choice.

Easy to swallow, coating tastes sweet. I don't take pills easily but these are fine to take even twice per day. Doctor recommended this dose for me. I have found if I drink milk products within 2-4 hours of taking it can upset my stomach.

My Dr. insisted on me getting a VERY high dose of iron, to cure my anemia. I first tried the cheap ferrous sulfate, but it did not sit well on my stomach. This ferrous gluconate has the same mg as sulfate, but provides less elemental iron than the sulfate version. It is, however, much kinder to my gut and head.

I have to take these everyday.I really recommend them.— they are coated: they dissolve in your stomach, not your trachea. You don’t experience the horrible feeling of tasting iron all day, as you get with uncoated pills.I just had to throw away 2 brand new bottles of iron sulfate because of the horrible taste. 🤢— it’s gluconate, not sulfate.NIH studies indicate sulfate is higher iron dose, but gluconate is better absorbed. I’ve had better experience with these.It is recommended you take a vitamin E just before taking this, for maximum absorption. Vitamin E is inexpensive.— good price. 3 bottles of 100 pills last me almost a year.You won’t regret these.
