Seller did not inspect product before delivery. The blocks were not completely painted. Poor paint job plus the packing for shipping item was horrible. This was damaged on arrival.

Excellent product considering the price point. Well packed. Arrived with no major issues besides a little dent in one of the rear corners. Nothing that will affect the aesthetics of the panel once it’s setup on the wall. I would definitely recommend this product to other fellow audio engineers.Again, considering the cost and benefit, this is the very best product I have been able to find. Had the unit arrived without the little dent, I would have given a 5 star rating.

Audiophiles want their music systems to sound especially good. The acoustic properties of the listening room have an important role in the music fidelity that can be achieved with high quality audio gear. Bare walls reflect a lot of the sound in a room. Think of what an unfurnished room sounds like when you talk in it. Some of that undesired sound remains even after furniture is added. The echo is not as pronounced. But nearly bare walls, especially when parallel make parts of the music spectrum sound louder and other parts sound quieter. Panels such as this one make the angle of the reflected sound depend on its frequency. And that reduces the tendency of reflections to put such peaks and dips in the spectrum of the music. These panels are well constructed. I installed two behind the listening position. This required much thought because they weigh 30 pounds each. The hangers that came with them are entirely inadequate. Using screws, I attached two strips of wood to the back of each panel. The strips went to the floor to bear the panel weight. The strips extended a few inches above the panel so I could put screws through to the wall. I then attached the strips to my wall, using about 6 in each strip. I am certain that the panels will not fall. The only way to determine the effectiveness of the panels in my listening room is with test gear that I don't have. 'A-B' listening comparisons can't be done days apart. My listening room sounded good before and after I installed these panels.

The baseboard onto which the diffuser is constructed is greatly warped. The paint job was incomplete.

Only reason for 4 stars is it took quite awhile to receive the panels. Seller did make good and actually shipped a third panel for my troubles . As you can see in the picture they look fine . Hard pressed to find anything better for the price .
