Melissa & Doug Abby and Emma Magnetic Wooden Dress-Up Dolls Play Set (55+ Pieces), Magnetic Dolls, Pretend Play & Preschool Toys for Kids 3+

My nieces love playing with these dolls. The magnet strength is good, the items stay on the doll when it's being moved around, but it's not so strong that the 3 year old couldn't easily remove things. It has a lot of clothes/accessory options, which comes in handy with two small children, otherwise these two would argue about who gets to "wear" what. It comes in a nice wooden tray, there's no real lid for it, just a thin plastic piece that sits over the center section. I would have liked to have a lid that latches in some way to make it easy to store, but overall it's a great toy that keeps the kids entertained for hours.

I am a teacher, and this toy is a beloved thing in my classroom! My original was fading and the magnet on the girls weren't holding up well, so I was happy to find out that I could still replace it!

Last night I gave my granddaughter this Abby & Emma magnetic doll set for Christmas Eve. Then she couldn’t take it home with her because we couldn’t find the top to the box and I didn’t want the pieces to get scattered and lost. Wait - THERE IS NO TOP. How can you create such a quality, delightful age appropriate product and not provide a lid? All the pieces will spill if it is tipped. It will be difficult to store. Melissa & Doug, I love you but on this one please do better. I’d gladly a pay a few dollars more for a product that would protect the pieces and allow my granddaughter to keep them organized.

Such a fun and classic toy! My daughter loves mixing and matching all the magnetic outfits and accessories. The pieces are sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some other sets. I love that it encourages creativity and keeps her entertained for long stretches of time. Everything stores neatly in the wooden box, which makes cleanup easy. Perfect gift idea for kids who enjoy pretend play!

Fun and vibrant. We have gifted this several times for birthdays and it is always a hit. We also own several and I think it serves as a great quiet time activity or to transition out of nap time. I do think the box is a bit bulky for storage and just place all the pieces in a mesh bag after opening. Great value toy that encourages open ended play.

We purchased this set as well as two other Melissa and Doug dress up doll set for our daughter for Christmas. They are all absolutely wonderful. Very well made. The type of toy that you can pass from child to child. My daughter loves to dress up all the dolls and then stand them up and play pretend (like they are all going to a ball). These dolls keep her occupied for at least an hour, absolutely amazing!Our one complaint with this set is some of the clothing in this set was a little to "small". There are some mini skirts and belly shirts in this set it seems and for our family that is not appropriate clothing for a 3+ year old to be learning about. However, I did voice my concern with the company directly (Melissa and Doug) and they were extremely prompt in a response and were eager to rectify my issue. I have not experienced such great customer service in a very long time! Our family will now be life long consumers of Melissa and Doug products as they had already won me over with the quality of their products and now we have the absolute cherry on top of fantastic, friendly and quick customer service!Great company and great products!Also, out of all the items my daughter received for Christmas these are what she has been playing with for the past week.I also love that the box has suggestions for educational uses for these dolls!I wanted to make note that I've read some of the other reviews about wishing there was a lid to this product. Yes, that would be nice but it really hasn't been a problem for us as our daughter has been told that after you are done playing with the dolls all items must be picked up and put neatly back in the container. But a lid would be nice for transportation purposes. Especially since the container that it comes in is so nice.
