Stoney Creek-Stockings I

Great pattern in perfect condition.

Easy to read patterns. They have the color conversion chart in case of floss brand changes. Beautiful patterns.

These are amazing stockings, but NOT for beginners. Blended colors, more quarter stitches than whole stitches, colors that are so close that if you take a break it is almost impossible to figure out where you were, a lot of special stitches and a few stitches that I have never hear of... but if I ever finish the one that I am working on (the wildlife one) it will look gorgeous.

I started stitching the day after receiving! I make a Christmas stocking for each grandchild. I always look for a great looking Santa that children will recognize ...and sometimes that makes it hard to find a pattern I like. This one fits all the criteria I was looking for ... good Santa, easy-to-read directions, etc.

Very happy with the book. Have already started the project and moving along quickly

I like the patterns. They are a little hard to figure out. I suppose it is okay. I will probably just use these as a starting point and improvise a bit.

My mother has cross stiched all our family's Christmas stockings. Now with a wave of grandchildren, she's exhausted her old cross stich books. It wasn't easy finding aesthetic stitch patterns at a more advanced level....but these were great and my mom couldn't have asked for more for Christmas :)

I liked the patterns - picked another book for the stocking I am currently working on, but will more than likely use some of these in the future since I assume I will keep getting great-grandchildren added to my family
