I am an in my 60's, and in need of a total knee replacement, so bending and stooping can be difficult. We bought a new camper and couldn't believe how far the black and gray tank handles are under the camper. I am often out camping by myself and empty tanks into the waste wagon. My husband bought these and attached them and it has made a big difference. They work great however, it is noteworthy that are original handles were not made to replace, he had to break them off and make it work...it is probably a good idea to check to see how much work it will be for you before you purchase them.At this point, I have probably used these a couple dozen times, they work great!

I am glad to have found this. Before installing I used a piece of scrap walnut which I shaped on a sanding disk. I then drilled a hole trrough the wood for the tube and a larger hole part way through for the base of the plastic handle. This allowed me to resin the handle to a much more substantial block of wood. I was replacing this due to the original similar plastic handle having broken off. This worked well for my buried waste tank. I will submit a picture if I can see how. I was also pleased to get the extra support piece which I will install as another project The threaded rod that connect the two pieces allow for almost unlimited adjustment for lengths. Longer rods can be purchased at a hardware store but are not likely needed.
