The is one of a great range of books which delve in some detail into specific groups or species of minerals. The content is of interest to amateur and professional mineralogists and mineral collectors alike, giving a detailed commentary on the structure, formation and occurence of the minerals, supplemented by a large number of colour photographs of typical and higher quality specimens. All in all, superb, and great value for money. I already own another book in the series, about radioactive minerals, which is also very good, and intend to buy others (Fluorite). I hope that the series continues to expand.
