I don't understand why people complain about this chain's strength -- it is a plastic chain. It is not intended for towing a vehicle or anything wild like that.We use this to but a gentle reminder to visitors to use our front door. We have an open carport that leads to our kitchen door, but we prefer visitors to walk up the front walk to the front door. We hung this across the carport with a sign that reads "Please Use Other Door".It is an inexpensive plastic chain that can be used to solve simple crowd-control issues. It does its job well if you put it to the proper use. It is not a metal chain, so don't expect it to have the strength of one.5 stars - will buy again if the one I have ever breaks.

This excellent product is made in the USA by US Weight. I bought it for a traffic / pedestrian safety application on a school playground. The chain is plastic so it can be spread further along traffic delineators, comes in a variety of colors, comes in a variety of lengths, and it comes with two larger plastic end links to secure the chain to another length or a traffic cone. Recommend carefully measuring the distance you want to protect, and get some good quality traffic delineators or cones that can handle the extra weight.

I've been using the yellow plastic chain to stretch across driveway in order to maintain privacy. We had a steel gate, but it rusted, was too heavy and impractical. We never used it. After installation of this chain, we no longer get unsolicited visitors to our residence, since most people are uncomfortable removing a physical barrier. Better yet, after over a year of use, it has maintained it's color and shows no signs of wear. The product is durable, color fast, light weight and be easily cut with simple hand tools. It is a perfect driveway or walkway barrier.

I mean it’s a plastic chain what else can you say? Bought this to block off access to a dangerous set of stairs. It does a good job of blocking said stairs. However this chain would not be a good chain to get your redneck neighbors truck unstuck from a mud hole in the back 40. It’s plastic. Use this for plastic chain appropriate applications and you’ll be satisfied!

Using this in the chicken coop to hang various items: 5-gallon bucket, only partially filled with water; dry feeder; and a swing. It is plenty strong, and is a plus that it will not rust. Like how the blue color adds a fun vibe.

We have a lot of elderly who use our parking lot, sadly we also have people who dump garbage. We had to come up with a lightweight solution that our elderly members could get around but that would discourage others from using the lot as their garbage dump. It did get broken once by someone who tried to jump over it and failed...but I put a zip tie on it and it was good again. Looks like a real chain and keeps people out of our parking lot when we're not here. I'm happy with it.

It is a plastic chain, so if you are looking for strength look for a metal material. This is exactly as advertised. I needed 25feet of decorative chain to hang a light in weight sign from and it is perfect. Black chain with a black and gold sign, it looks very nice and the plastic is great for using outdoors.

It was heavier than I thought it'd be, but I'm happy with it. I used it to chain up a treasure chest for an escape room with kids. It was one long chain and didn't seem like it would break easily. Didn't test its strength though.

Exactly what it looks like. Odd that the end hooks are black, but the picture is honest on that front. Links can be cracked with pliers or vice grips to get a custom length.Perfect for creating easily circumvented barriers.

Don't hesitate: buy it. It is a great quality. I believe you could even go over it with your car (I didn't try it, but it's pretty sturdy!) Good job!
