Extra Soft Cashmere Wool Throw Blanket - Made in Nepal Size 54" x 94"

Bought this as an extra cozy for my wife. She prefers to sleep warmer than I and was not sleeping well for my comfort alone. This throw being lightweight cashmere added to her side of the bed fixed the problem wonderfully. I' m comfortable and she is toasty warm. I' m very happy I bought one big enough for our dog to have her cut as well. Thank you. Life is short. Don't miss a minute.

I bought this as a gift for my mom to go on her new couch so she can pass out with it to her TV shows as she is prone to do. It is a very nice blanket - very soft, nice material, a good size and nice pattern.It comes in a big plastic ziploc style bag, so I put it in a box to spruce it up a bit for gifting.

It’s not very thick and not very large. It sheds pretty bad, especially when you first get it. I’ve washed it in cool water and air dryer it twice and it’s held up to both washes fine and after one wash and a few weeks you see it at the state it will stay at. It does seem to be made with bottom of the barrel cashmere but low grade cashmere is still warmer and softer than high-end cotton. The tag says 100% cashmere and I don’t want to disparage the makers but considering the price I wouldn’t be surprised if some wool or maybe even rayon was mixed in at some point in the supply line, but it’s still obviously mostly (maybe all) cashmere. The blanket honesty doesn’t looks too great, it’s got a fuzzy surface almost like angora from the shedding and the color is quite a dull gray BUT I’d still probably recommend it for what I use it for, cuddling up on the couch and watching tv or layering it with my bedspread for a little extra warmth during winter nights. It’s warm and soft, if you want a cashmere blanket to be warm, soft, tightly knit, and attractive to look at, you’ll obviously have to spend a bit more.

It's very soft and fairly warm. It's thin and would have liked it to be thicker and warmer but it's a good buy for price. Also would like a lighter color like light brown. The seller is very good to work with.

Feels nice and soft but SHEDS A LOT. My black shirt was all covered with white sh..t as shown on the photo after covering with a throw for like 10-15 seconds. DO NOT RECOMMEND

When I received this blanket despite the surprising thinness I found it provided the additional warmth I required and had the soft texture associated the cashmere. I have used it nightly for 4 o5 months. The fabric was been shedding for some time. Hundreds of tiny balls cover the surface, the smooth texture no longer in evidence. I suspect the product was not designed for my nightly use. Rather for less frequent use a a throw. I have no doubt that after enough of the fabric has morphed into small balls the blanket will begin to shred.All that said I am happy I bought it, the price is not great, it still fills it's intended need. In fact I have become attached to it. I intend to purchase another. This time in brown. The grey is quite boring.Another plus is it's length. It would be quite suitable as a meditation shawl.
