ArkoCool Menthol Shaving Cream, Blue, 100 Gram

This Arko Cool Menthol Shaving Cream is certainly a great daily shaving cream. It has a very light scent and is soothing for the skin even after a few passes although you may want to reapply as it's not the slickest.Excellent lather, you only need about a peanut size of cream and you wont need a lot of water to get it going. This cream is best applied with a brush but when travelling you'll find the palm of your hand will do just fine.I didn't get much menthol of the scent, it's more similar to Davidoff Cool Water if you are familiar however it is certainly a pleasant smell that will linger for a while after shaving.This cream is very reasonably priced for the quality of it all.

I couldn't notice any cool menthol sensation from this shave cream. It does lather up well and provides a decent result. I would buy a shave cream again, it's better than shave gel as the lather seems a thicker consistency. Probably more convenient to buy the cheapest shave cream you can find at your local supermarket.

Another great product from Arko. Like their soap it lathers really easily and expansively. I use a brush and bowl and it only requires a little drop to provide a lot of lather. I didn't notice much, if any smell, to the cream and not much cooling menthol effect. However, these aspects are minor as it provides a really good shave and very cost effective, perhaps more so than their shaving soap.

This is a 5 star product, but it is reduced to 3 starts because it is incorrectly listed as being a mentholated shaving cream.There is no menthol or mint in the scent, ingredients or skin sensation. It smells similar to Davidoff Coolwater, which is why I believe it is called "cool".Besides the incorrect advertisement, this product is fantastic.

Having had many trips to Turkey cancelled of late, when I would normally have stocked up on the best shaving cream in the World, I had run out. Thank heavens for Amazon coming to the rescue!If you use bog-standard gel, or even worse, foam, your shaving life will move up a level or two with this. Arko is the premier brand in Turkey, I usually buy something a little cheaper. With a top quality razor, there is simply no better shaving experience and now I don't have to have a special trip to Turkey to buy it!Also buy the lemon cologne - 750ml pump dispenser recommended - for the full experience.

At 1.49 this is a great value no-nonsense shave cream. It lathers easily, is slick and provides an excellent shave. I could only detect a very slight scent, mildly soapy, not at all unpleasant, but, to me, an almost unscented cream which is ok. I was however, disappointed by any the lack of any cooling effect or menthol kick. Not at all as the name 'Cool' suggests, but still great value shave cream. Personally I would not buy again simply because I prefer the Arko 'Moist' version which also fails to live up to it's name as it's no more moist or hydrating effect than another other good shave cream but to me simply smells nicer.
