ESPRO P7 French Press Coffee Maker - Double-Walled Stainless Steel Insulated with Micro-Filter, 32 Ounces, Matte Black

I’ve been using an Espro travel FP at home daily for many years. Decided recently that I’d like the option of 2 cups in the morning instead of the single serving that the travel FP makes. This FP is delightful so far. Well made, handsome and the finished product is amazing. I use locally roasted coffee beans, a hand grinder also purchased on Amazon, grind to a consistency of sea salt and bloom the coffee grounds before mixing completely. Yes. I’m a coffee snob🤷‍♂️

I could not be happier with this purchase. I have always loved the consistency of a French press coffee, but did not like the muddy feeling you could sometimes get from your cup. The double filter system keeps the taste and oils in the coffee without the grinds. The insulation keeps your second cup of coffee just as hot as the first. Great press!

This is my first French Press, and there's no going back to pods or drip coffee! It's so easy to use, even for a beginner. It's also easy to clean the filters. Make sure to tap and wipe off as much of the grounds as possible. You don't want to put grounds down your sink! Rinsing off a little sludge is fine. Then all you need to do is rinse off the filters. I use a fine mesh strainer to get the coffee grounds out of the pot. Now, for the best part! Because of the double filters, you will get very little to no coffee grounds in your cup. When I say very little, I mean, you might see a couple of grounds at the bottom of your cup. This thing makes a clean cup of coffee. I was a bit intimidated by the thought of getting a French Press, but I'm a fan. It takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish, a bit longer than putting a pod in your Keurig, but it's so worth it. I don't even mind cleaning the burr and the filters, it's just part of the French Press experience!

Works better than old French Press at screening out sediment but doesn't get all of it out like a paper filter does.

Always has grind in coffee. Does not taste near as good as drip coffee. Same brand of coffee used in both methods.

The hubby loves it! Don't forget to also purchase an electric water heater.
