Mastered by Her Mates

I downloaded this expecting complete and utter smut. It definitely contains that, but also a surprising amount of world-building and detail put into the story around the sex scenes. Things I enjoyed: The point of view switches between the three main characters Amanda, Grigg, and Conrav from scene to scene. The characters have personalities and their own problems, and despite their kinky marriage traditions, they expect Amanda to integrate into their culture and be a useful member of society, not just a sex bunny who lives in their private quarters. The men and Amanda each had subplots with problems to face that were not just about the marriage plot. The sci-fi world was enjoyably well-developed and deliberately went against cliches (and our Earth heroine's expectations) on several occasions. I really enjoyed the dominant and submissive nature of the characters' sexual relationship, which pushed boundaries but never got abusive or non-consensual. The poly triad was both hot in the sex scenes and sweet in scenes where they looked after and comforted each other. It's believable that they could fall in love in such a short amount of time. I enjoyed this book enough to tell a friend to grab a copy and read it, and I'll definitely be checking out more of this author's work, especially work featuring poly relationships.

I read one of the books in the Colony Series before I read this first book of the Interstellar Brides Series. I would normally prefer to read in sequence for a series like this, but since I’m such a Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine fan, I already understood the meaning of terms used in these stories. Mastered by Her Mates was a really good series starter. It gives you all the background settings and terminology needed to jump right into the series and feel right at home. This being the second book in related series that I have read, I’m happy to have read the beginning of the first. I am interested in reading all of the series and all the spin-off series, also. This is a hot and steamy read with sexy aliens, a strong heroine, battle action, and intrigue set on the frontlines of a vast battlefield in space. I love sci-fi, but sometimes just can’t get into some of the way-out-there imaginings of the authors. No so with this author. It was very easy to follow along and believe what I was reading. I recommend this book and series to any science fiction fans that also enjoy a very steamy romance thrown in for free!

I read this book and I couldn't tear my eyes away from the pages. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it caused my heart to race in a good way. It was interesting to learn that the worlds created in this series are so much more interesting and advanced than our own world. Amanda Bryant got more than she bargained for because she is torn between the loyalty she feels to earth and the loyalty and love of her two warrior mates. She had no idea what she was getting herself into...she thought that she was just doing her job but she falls in love with her mates. This is the perfect blend of sci-fi and romance blended together into one book and this series. I was happy when Amanda told off her arrogant and self absorbed bosses and chose to follow her heart. Grace Goodwin is an amazing author and I loved this book. I'm excited to read the next book in this series. Mrs. Goodwin creates a story that will cause the reader to not want to put it down.

This was the first book I have read by Grace Goodwin so I had no idea what to expect. Amanda is a spy on earth and as part of her job is sent through the Interstellar Bride Program to spy on aliens and send the information back to earth. She doesn't really know what to expect but it isn't being matched to 2 alpha males, Grigg and Rav. Doesn't take long to realize that the threat to earth is real and she must tell her intended mates why she is really there. We get a little bit about the characters pasts but it would be nice to have some more development. Interesting concept will be looking to see how the others play out. This is a hot, steamy book so if that is what your looking for then start reading.

I usually go into these books expecting them to be a certain level of bad, I don't read them for plot I just think they are fun, but this book blew me away! It's everything I could hope for in an alien romance and the story was really good and interesting. I love sci fi and this story delivered. I was a little put off at the fact that the primary Male and secondary Male are cousins but it didn't really fall into the incest category. They are not attracted to each other and when the story explains why women have two mates it makes sense considering their close relationship. The closest they get physically, other than DP'ing their mate, is a firm grasp on each other's shoulders and I appreciate that. This was the first book in the series I read since it was free but I'm sold on this author and series and I look forward to reading more!

I really enjoyed this one! This is the 6th book in the series but actually a great place to start as it is the first one set chronologically in the series. Amanda is the first official bride and she is CIA asset/agent being sent to verify information about hives and to try and get technology. But when she gets on the ship the connection she has with Arab and Grigg is very different than she was expecting, and the collar sharing their emotions means she can’t lie without them knowing. I loved how her two mates handled it all. They were willing to call her out and show her the truth, which is what she was after anyways. I really enjoyed this story and the way everything was developed and set up. It was another hot, entertaining story and I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Wowza !!!!! I couldn't put this book down !! But , since I was at Work, I had to Look like I was working 😀 From the first word until the last, this story was a WHIRLWIND of action and adventure. Amanda has been a spy for a while . She takes pride in doing what she can to insure the safety of humanity . And she's good at it . When Earth has been contacted by the Aliens Coalition of Planets , about a very real threat to the world as they know it , the Aliens only want to deal with One person . Not several governing bodies . The Prillion Warriors have come with demands, that they expect to be followed. Yeah , you see where this is going ....... The Aliens need Females , and soldiers.. But they are unwilling to share some of their technology. Namely weapons and knowledge . Amanda has been sent to infiltrate the Alien Ship as a Interstellar Bride. In fact, she is the first . And she is woefully unprepared. Through a series of tests , she has been matched to not one , but two Warriors . And she is almost immediately shuttled off to a place that is LIGHT YEARS away from all that she knows . As soon as she awakes , her two Warriors are WAYYYY too interested in anything besides the fact that she is Theirs , to do with as they please. Amanda has been sent to do a job , but why can't a girl have a little fun along the way ??? What follows is a whole bunch of sexy times, as these beings come together without knowing Anything about each other. Sometimes funny , sometimes not , this book was extremely hard to put down. I am probably going to spend a LOT of my gift cards in these books !!!!

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it immensely. Note that I was 100% expecting a dirty, erotic, threesome sci-fi story and it did not disappoint. If you're not into explicit sex scenes then you should definitely pass. The first chapter pulls you in and then has chapters from the points of view of the three different leads. I really liked getting into each of their heads and learning more about their motivations. The sex was smoking hot and the emotions surrounding it were sweet and basically believable. Highly recommended if you're looking for some decent erotica.

I loved reading this ebook, nor could i put it down and i found it to be interesting, intense, kinky, erotic, passionate, sensual, sexy, great plot, great storyline, filled with drama, adventure and a bit of pulse lounding danger as well.

Äußerst spannend geschriebenes erotisch, romantisches Buch mit gut gezeichneten Charakteren und interessanten Dialogen und guter Beschreibung der Entwicklung der zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen. Sehr empfehlenswerte Lektüre.
