Art3d Self-Adhesive Contact Paper Countertops (200"x17.7", Marble 1, Shiny)

This just arrived at my house today and I haven't used it yet, so my 3 stars are just based off my first impression. I unfurled the roll to check for defects and it's in perfect condition, so that's great. I love the colors and the glossy shine is really nice. I'm not sure if I'm being too picky about this, but I was hoping it would appear real at first glance, but instead I noticed right away that it seems to have the slightest bit of motion blur to it, so that kind of dampens the effect. The lines in the marble pattern just don't look as sharp and clear to me in person, as they do in the other customers' pics, and now I'm not sure if I want to use this after all for my intended project, so I left 2 stars off. But I will let you be the judge! I took some closeups next to a poster and a ruler, and as long as amazon doesn't compress them too much, hopefully you can see what I mean about the slight fuzziness compared to the clear paint strokes in the poster, and the lines on the ruler (and also compared to the other customer pics).The third picture is just a suggestion for anyone who is frustrated that the pattern doesn't match up because you don't want it to look fake & don't feel like you can use it anymore - this is a second hand coffee table we picked up a while back made with real marble tiles that were joined together with epoxy (the epoxy has turned amber with time). So if the surface you want to cover is white, beige, or something on the lighter side like that, you can always try cutting the paper into small "tiles" instead and still get a stylish, realistic finish out of it. Also a good way to use up scraps from bigger projects.

I had a banged up desk that needed some new life so I got this to put on the surface of it. Application wasn’t fun, I needed to use a lot of it but as I was putting it on it kept wanting to stick to itself and I had issues with air bubbles. I watched videos and used so many tricks to try and get rid of them to no avail. At least it’s not super noticeable but working with this product was a struggle and definitely not fun. It is mildly thick so that was nice and it had a grid on the back that make it easier to use. It also cleans pretty well. All in all not bad.

This goes on BeaYOUtifully and looks very real once finished! But the longevity of it is another story, it does not last long at all, particularly if using on a kitchen counter where constant wiping occurs. I recommend using only if you plan to put some type of overlay over top to keep it looking fresh or if it is very short-term use. Otherwise, expect after a few weeks, maybe even days in some area where there's more traffic, to notice it start to lift, edges peel, or pucker.I will reiterate, this goes on BeaYOUtifully at first and looks AWEsome, but doesn't last long at all! This is a gorgeous pattern and wonderful concept. I just wish there was a way to make it last on my kitchen counters for longer than a few days n weeks! 😔😉-Be Blessed n Be a Blessing ...

I use this adhesive paper for something different - it was my friends birthday and I wanted to decorate a box to put her gifts in.I bought a regular wooden box (I included the only before picture I took) & was a little bit hesitant because I didn’t know if the paper would stick but it held up extremely well.The roll you get is HUGE - I still have more then half the roll left. The paper is shiny and the print is gorgeous. It didn’t look cheap to me & everyone complimented the box.The paper is real easy to cut through too.I have 0 complaints and I can’t wait to see what else I can use this on!

This stuff is SO CUTE. I got it to give an old dresser a face lift and postpone buying a new one. It wasn't too bad to figure out but it was easy to tear if I wasnt careful enough. I noticed I had to be especially careful getting bubbles out. You get a lot for the price and the design is so pretty I want to fond other things to use it on!

Best contact paper I’ve had so far. I purchased this to cover my desk in my studio. I work with different art medias, mineral spirits/thinners, the works. That desk takes a lot of beatings to store my supplies and this paper’s holding up like a champ! No peeling, no scratches, absolutely zero damage!!It was fairly easy laying it down as well but went a lot quicker with my husband helping me out by holding one side down as I unrolled, peeled, attached and smoothed it.I used a ruler to push out any air bubbles.

The media could not be loaded.  5 starts it’s exactly what I wanted this particular pattern has a hint of blue in it which went perfectly with my kitchentip: take your time laying it or there will be bubbles, for my bubble mistakes I used a needle and flattened the air bubbles without wrinkling the paperThere’s a easy to use grid on the back of the sticker I used to measure my counter space

Really great final look! Totally transformed my furniture, just use a semi sharp edge as you lay it down to keep pushing out any air bubbles to creat a perfect flat surface and since the adhesive paper is kinda of rolled up when packaged, it won’t be a precise measure on how much to cut since it kinda creates waves in the paper. Word of advice; cut roughly the measurement of the surface and use an exacto knife to gently cut away extra around edges.

like that its glossy, a little hard to measure and stick, but totally recommended it if you want to vamp up your products/room, etc.

TIP: 👻 Before placing this adhesive, i cleaned my dresser really well to make sure it would stick properly👻 I installed iy myself and my gohd, the adhseive is very good. You might need a hand when installing this. Like me, i have to pull the adhesive back and forth (having a hard time installing it myself) which creates bubbles and not aligning on the dresser properly. If you have someone to help you, that would make the work super easy.Happy with this purchase! Worth my money. 😊

It looks like in the picture. It sticks well but it cuts easily in the sense that I accidentally run my nail while installing it. And the last roll is not even useable.

I like how easy it is to apply and it’s easy to cut but it does rip easy. I do not like how it matches up on larger items side by side but overall a great product!
