I have a min pin which are known to chew through and eat anything. He was not able to chew through this cushion but managed to undo the threading on one side and pull out half of the stuffing the first night. If there is any way in redesigning the seams, I think you might have an TRUE indestructible product.

This is definitely chew-proof, but my dog hasn't used it 1 single time, after 1 month! This is probably made for if you want to put it in your dog's cage.

I've bought two of these beds over the years, and I hope they keep making them as I'm sure I'll want to get another eventually. My lab/husky mix isn't an aggressive chewer anymore, but when she was a puppy, she was all teeth. The first bed held up well, tho eventually she did make a smallish hole in one edge. The bed is still useable and is her "away from home" bed. The main positive about these is that they're both durable *and* washable. Daisy sleeps in her crate at night (and whenever she wants a little privacy), so the pad can get smelly if not washed fairly frequently. I've had other "washable" dog beds that disintegrated after a couple of washes, but not this one. On rare occasion, I've had to bleach it – no problem. Hasn't affected it at all. I highly recommend this bed for moderate chewers whose humans like to wash things.

We have 10 month old chocolate lab that immediately tore off the tag resulting in about a 2 inch hole where they sewed the tag into the seam. From there, she removed a lot of the stuffing. The rest of the bed is still intact, but I was disappointed in the placement of the tag...if we're buying a bed for a dog that is "chew resistant" why would you place something on there the dog can chew / tear off?

My husband and I love this mat. We first found one on a trip to Maine at a pet store and purchased it as a travel mat for our service dog, a small terrier. We have had it 2 or 3 years and it is still in great shape. It is the perfect size (we ordered small) to travel with and take into a restaurant for Max to lay on. It rolls up to carry and cleans easily. We have been trying to find the exact same mat to buy more and finally found it here. We bought two more and now I am ordering a 4th one so we can put it on both seats of our new truck for protection. And I am considering ordering the larger size for the truck's back seat to take care of those muddy little paws. So we think this is a great multi purpose dog mat.
