I would recommend it Is a beautiful chess set and looks amazing in my living room (would add pic but i need to dust) my green pieces are more of a translucent pale lime green with brown layers slightly different than what is shown in the image but i imagine they vary due to the hand crafted nature of the pieces, has some real weight to it so not good for travelling, but it's worth just having on display, the box it came with was different than the blue one advertised I'm not sure If it's regionally based or something i was slightly disappointed but ultimately its the centerpiece of my living room table and I don't plan on having it boxed very often so it's no big concern to me but something to be aware of if your ordering this chess set, it all turned up in excellent condition with no damage though they do give a good window to replace broken parts if needed

I purchased a RadicalN handcrafted Onyx and Marble Chess Board Set from RadicalN Amazon-Marketplace website.Unfortunately I received the Chess Set broken. I contacted RadicalN. Communicated with a Customer Consultant Lisa. She was very polite and apologetic,after requesting a picture of the broken Chess Board, Lisa went far more than the extra mile in discussions with her Manager and their Warehouse to resolve the situation and arrange for a similar replacement to be shipped. She is a true asset and treasure to Radical and should be commended for her negotiating skills and efficiency.The Chess set is impressive. The handcrafted Onyx and Marble Chess Board has a lovely shine and has a earthy look, a delightful design. Each of the 32 Chess Figure is uniquely detailed. It gives one great pleasure and pride to use the Chess Board Set.

This is a great set, have had many many games. The craftsmanship is a little rough around the edges and yo will have to be careful where to store the pieces as they may get broken. ( its also a very heavy total weight with all the pieces on the marble board) but all in all for the price it looks great and has been the source of a lot of fun in the house.

This is a beautiful chess set, well worth the price. The marble striations are unique and captivating and the design overall is just absolutely gorgeous. The board and the pieces are heavy enough we can set it up and play on the bed. The box provided for storage is slightly chintzy, I would have preferred something other than velcro closures and the material it's made of is a bit flimsy - but it fits together well and the organization is carefully thought out. I can't complain since the set itself is so great...I don't know why, but finding a good, unique chess that's as solid as this one was a pain in the a** - I'm picky about chess and don't like anything with a hint of shoddy manufacture. Fortunately this set lives up to the photos. There's no felt on the bottom of the pieces but after playing the board shows not even a tiny sign of scratching. A great value and I highly recommend it.

Chess board has a hole drilled into the bottom left corner for no obvious reason. Not broken but deliberate. Spoils the look of the whole set. Very disappointed as was a birthday gift so returning for a full refund. The pieces and the case were fine. Just the board. The chess board has now been replaced with a new one, undamaged. Service after contacting the company was good.
