It was light enough to use easily.
This ramp was replacing a wide ramp that was just too awkward and heavy for me to handle. It did work, but this ramp was so much easier for me to put in place that my only concern was that my big dog would use it with ease. My dog adapted to the ramp well. The cover is a bit rough for her paws. My dog approaches the ramp with so much energy that she has torn the cover slightly. It is useable and handles her 130 lbs so I am quite satisfied overall. I will need to keep an eye on this as it has a small crack on one end that does not affect the use at all.

Wish it was wider and a little longer
It’s nice enough and pretty much as expected but I feel like it’s pretty narrow and my old dog has a hard time using it. I’m sure it states the width in the description and is accurate but it seems pretty narrow once you have it in personThe other issue is it’s length makes it pretty steep . If it was longer it would be better. I’m using this to get my dog into the back of a standard height Jeep Wrangler and it’s really steep for a medium sized dog. Maybe something lower to the ground like a mini van would be fine but if you have a Jeep or SUV keep in mind it will be pretty steep which may be an issue for older, larger dogs

Excellent product.
Can't say enough good things about this product. My large breed dog is fine getting in and out of my wife's car, but my 2 trucks are considerably higher and although she got in and out fine, one day she came up limping after exiting the truck. Long term this was not going to be a good situation for her either so I research ramps and settled on this. One of the reviews mentioned how they "trained" their dog using it on porch steps and that is the approach I took. She had it down almost immediately and uses it confidently entering/exiting the trucks every time. Its strong (she's 80lbs) and doesn't move when she's on it. I would by it again and have used it 10's of times now and can confidently say this is a quality product that makes transporting my dog safer for her!

Very user friendly for large senior Great Pyrenees
Works great and easy to fold - Light -and easy to put in our Buick sedan. Didn’t try to use it on SUV. Could be harder for dog to navigate steeper angle into a higher vehicle.

Not Safe
This was advertised as a ramp for an SUV, however, it is not long enough to safely use on my Honda Pilot. It is not sturdy. It is light weight though. To top it off I was charged a fee to return this. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sturdy ramp
Works well with a truck and just wide enough for a access cab the the red grip tape is a bonus it keeps the traction when the dog is entering or exiting the truck

Great purchase for older dogs.
I purchased this to make it easier for my older dogs to get into our SUV. The product is a great addition, once you train your dog. We have two large breed GSDs. It just took a couple of times with some training food to lead them up the ramp for them to get the hang of it. This ramp folds for convenience, is very sturdy for large dogs and is stable. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it is a bit narrow. Since I do have big dogs, the walk way is a little tight. Other than that, I am very pleased I purchased it.

Bit of bounce
Being lightweight and plastic, there is a small amount of bounce when a 90 lb dog runs up the ramp. It's rated at 200+ lbs, so I'm not concerned about it failing, but the little bit of spring made me do a double-take. I'm extra careful now to make sure the top of the ramp is in the sweet spot on the lip of my Chev Equinox. Also, 6 feet isn't very long if you have an SUV, even one as low as my Equinox. The ramp is still quite steep for an older dog. I may have to put a small step/lifter at the bottom so she has a small hop onto the ramp, then a less steep incline to contend with. Anything shorter than 6 feet would be ridiculously steep. The friction material on the ramp looks great. It's the same material that you see on the deck of skateboards. It looks like it will last for many years. If you have a reluctant dog coming down the ramp, it may be a bit rough on their paws over time. Otherwise, it gives a secure footing for your pet.Folding the ramp for stowing is easy. It's not stable on edge, so to minimize the floor space it takes up, consider using a strap or bungee cord to secure it in place. It has nice round edges when folded, so it minimizes any risk to your dog from being in the same space as the ramp while the vehicle is moving. You WILL want to secure it somehow.Overall I'm very pleased and my dog likes it. Would definitely buy this again.

Best invention ever
It is stable and works well for a sedan/hatchback which we have. The elevation isn't too steep but I had to guide my dog on in as he is still very unsteady on his feet. This ramp is not heavy and it folds in half and put it in the boot without taking up too much space. Love it.

Lightweight and Safe!
Very light but very sturdy. Never had an issue with it wobbling even on gravel, my dogs are 45 and 65 lbs. Works great with the Kurgo Cargo Cape too! Easy hook latch to lock on one side, never had a problem with only the one lock vs two. Very fast to open and close with minimal points where you could pinch yourself, the plastic is much safer than the metal versions out there and is still very strong. Have heard some people complain about the "sandpaper" panels on the ramp. These are for grip so your dog doesn't slip and injure themselves. I can tell you living in Winnipeg, Manitoba that this will be very handy come wintertime. I'm mindful about checking their paws for damage but have seen none over the few months I've been using the ramp. Pictured with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Great product!

Too steep for senior dog
I purchased this for my 70 lb senior dog after reading other reviews on here that said it was good for senior dogs! I had to return it. The good: it is lightweight and fairly compact for a ramp. A medium size, younger energetic dog might be able to do the incline, but it would be way better with a carpet or something to prevent the dog from slipping backwards. Customer service was excellent with my return. The bad: I put it on my Rav 4 and it was way too steep for my Senior German shepherd even though she is still in good shape, active and not overweight. It also was too narrow and she couldn't get her back legs on it to go up the ramp. It was like getting her to go up a narrow slide the wrong way. She could walk down it with me making sure she didn't fall off, but could not get into the vehicle using this ramp.

Works Great!
Great for my senior 11 year old black lab (130 lbs). He was not to keen on “sandpaper” like flooring so we glued a softer rug to it. Much easier on his hips to walk up and easier on me for lifting him.
