Good finger glove
Really stiff the first week or two but the loosen up. Good warm gloves but I'm 4 months in and the plastic palms is cracking. Still great gloves but I work in super freezing climate. I'm going to look at mittens next year but these did what I needed for this season. I work on a dock so fingers aren't as important as some jobs.

Great durability, hard to grasp, mediocre warmth
I used these gloves for a few months outdoors in Minnesota winter. Their durability is unrivaled in gloves, I have worn dozens and dozens of gloves, and these can take a beating. The durability comes at a trade off, as it is difficult to grasp objects. It takes a decent amount of hand strength to fully close your hand while wearing these. As far as warmth, they could use improvement in cold conditions. I have worn them outdoors for hours, they are sufficient probably down to 15 degrees F if you are not handling metal objects. Below that, you will need a second liner glove to wear underneath, which can get you closer to 0 degrees F.

Great gloves. Take time to break in
I regularly work in sub zero temps, I have worn these at -14 with a 20mph wind, and been perfectly comfortable.

Tough and Warm
These gloves are the real deal. They will keep your hands nice and warm all day in the cold. I had my hands in snow all day and never felt any cold at all. They also never got wet at all, save for a little damp from my own sweat inside when I got a little warm from strenuous work. They're supremely tough, withstanding some pretty harsh treatment without a scratch, rip, loose thread or anything else. The reinforcement on the knuckles is very tough, resisting very hard work. The reflective strips are very visible with even a little light. The only thing that isn't perfect is the fit. I'm an average size man with average sized hands and had to go with the XL size, so they run a little small. They are VERY stiff to begin with and almost all fine dexterity is out the window. I have to use keys sometimes and it just isn't happening with these gloves. I have to whip one off, use keys, then put it back on. It was worse when I first started wearing them but they loosened up a bit over time. Even then, when I'm trying to operate a pressure touch screen, the large size of the gloves means that a lot of my attempts to touch a small point on a screen go awry (NOTE: THESE GLOVES DO NOT WORK ON REGULAR TOUCH SCREENS SUCH AS PHONES AND TABLETS. The screens I'm referring to are work computers that respond to pressure.).At the end of the day, I am really glad I have them for those days when the cold will wreck your hands and make it impossible to do anything. My hands are warm, dry, and safe the whole time.

Very capable but a little restricting of the hands as expected!
I own a variety of Ironclad gloves I use at my VT mountaintop home and have always found them to be tough hard working long lasting products. They make a wide variety of work gloves for all seasons and my little retreat on a mountain but in a valley along a brook produces a variety of extreme conditions from 100 to -30 degrees, 70-100 inches of snow annually with moisture always in the wings and Ironclad had a set of gloves for every challenge! This pair, the Tundra's, is the toughest yet for me and they performed excellent through some serious storms. I have to say that it is almost impossible to use your fingers in this pair but a direct blow with a hammer isn't likely to cause much damage (if any) and cold/moisture simply has no chance!! HOWEVER, do NOT let moisture get inside those gloves as it gets trapped and takes quite some time to get them dry!I rely upon Ironclad gloves year round at my remote retreat and this 68 year old retiree appreciates and counts on their consistent quality. Highly recommend!

Best work glove I've owned
*Edit Feb 8 2022Still have these gloves. I don't use them on a regular basis but they are still in great shape and work fine when I'm in a situation that needs a warm glove.I love these gloves from Ironclad. Durable and warm they are perfect for working outside in the snow and cold. My hands have stayed dry and warm even when having to work in wet, icy conditions reaching into sumps and drains.I'm back to update my review on these gloves. The paragraph above was written on February 15, 2009 and today is January 24, 2011. I am still using these gloves and find them to be very warm except when it gets to bitter cold temps. Once the outside air temp drops into the teens or single digits, with wind chill temps in the negative I can feel my fingers starting to get cold and numb if I'm not actively using my hands working on something. Other than that these gloves still work great at keeping my fingers warm and toasty. I'd also like to say that they are water proof to a point. I was reaching into iced over gutters with water under the ice removing leaves and while my actual skin was staying dry I could tell the gloves were getting water logged. I could take them off and ring them out so I am guessing the water proof layer is the inner most layer of the glove. I also use these gloves when walking my dogs, removing snow off the driveway and when working outside in the cold such as on my snow blower. The textured finger tips allowed me to pick up even tiny washers laying on the cement! I am noticing a lot of "irish pendants" or little strings hanging off the gloves around the stitching, but that started a few months after I began using the gloves and it hasn't been an issue in durability yet.

chaud

Perfectly waterproof
My husband bought these as he does a lot of outdoor work even during the winter, and is also putting in a skating rink in our backyard. He says they’re perfect and completely waterproof. He went for the largest size, and is glad he did. Thought they ran a little small

They fit tight go one size up.
There are several things about this glove that in my opinion significantly only performed. whatever wicking material that the inner liner has does not work very well. The material that the whole gripping surface is made out of Is PVC, yes it is incredibly abrasive resistant however it is very very very puncher prone and as soon as you get a tear in it it is as easily torn as a business card. Not worth the price.

stiff and bad fit
These are terrible. They are so stiff they barely move and are very hard to put on. I bought the XXL and they are still too tight so they dont keep you warm. Don't waste your time with these.
