Excellent product for pet toys
I'd give this 10 stars if I could. I spent under $15 for 25' of 1/2 " rope, which will make 11-12 toys for my puppy just by knotting it. Considering the cost of just one China-made rope toy with possibly toxic dyes, this is a true bargain. She loves chewing on it, and playing fetch and tug o' war.UPDATE: This stuff wears like iron, and my dog plays with it at least once a day. Last night at Target, I gave unsolicited advice to a guy selecting a rope toy. The one he was looking at cost $12 and was made in China. I recommended the FMS rope, telling him he could get 10 similar rope toys for the price of that one, and with non-toxic dye to boot. (Sorry, Target!)

Excellent for strong, large breed dogs.
I purchase this rope about every 3 months in 1" x 10' for my Shepherd and Malinois due to its durability. I tie it in knots, hang it from a tree limb attached to a short bungie so they can pull it. Quite frankly, it's one of my dogs favorite things to do and excellent for neck and overall body strengthening. I no longer purchase any dog rope pull toys because they never last more than an hour. If you are looking for durability and longevity (this rope last approximately 3 months which is a long time given my dogs bite pressure and strength), I HIGHLY recommend purchasing one of these ropes.

Great for making dog rope toys
We bought several dog toys and our Husky/German Shepheard mix would just tear at the rope and shred it. It kept him busy and happy but the cost of new toys - ugh! That's when I decided to order some dog-safe 3/4 " cotton rope at 25'. They only had black and white/black as colors in this size and length.I would take about a 3-5 foot length, cut it and use butchers' twine (cotton and dog-safe too) to keep it from fraying. You can seach YouTube for a whipping knot. Very easy and therapeutic. I would then rethread his dog toys or just tie knots in the ends of the rope and let him play tug or just carry it around.

Pretty good BDSM rope
Not bad for tying up your loved or unloved ones.

nice soft rope - not advised for dog toy
i don't know how "tough" of a chewer your dog is, but my cattle dog ATE this immediately. It passed through in all it's brilliant orange glory...It is lovely rope though! I would recommend it if you are looking for a very soft cotton rope.

3/4 rope was more like 1.
Rope is high quality. Easily unravelled though, got to be a little creative with knots, if you're avoiding using tape. Made a little tug of war for the dog to help him exercise.Rope is 3/4 when taped tightly, but 1 inch when lose. A bit big for a pup.

Great rope for Spartan climbing practice!
Bought this 25 ft, 1 inch rope for Spartan race training. The feel and width is perfect for rope climbing, very well made, and was reasonably priced. Could add attachment at the end if you wanted to hang permanently, but I like the flexibility of being able to move it around for different uses.

Awesome rope, strong for the price! Perfect for dog toys
I made the rope into two dog toys for my Lab puppy. SHE LOVES IT!!!! She still has not destroyed them, very strong and sturdy!! BUT soon when her teeth are stronger I think she's going to need a thicker rope. Def. ordering again in future, so please make thicker rope!
