This USB rechargeable light is absolutely perfect for the RV, especially when not hooked up to electricity! I have 3 of them and love all the different settings. My favorite is the warm white. I love that they are dimmable, that they are magnetic so can move them around and they last quite a long time on a charge! They do seem to take quite awhile to recharge, but within a couple of hours (it seems, haven't timed it) they are ready to go again for weeks at my level of use.Keep in mind you do have to use the proprietary charger that comes with it, so don't lose that.My first one was purchased probably 3 years ago and is still going strong.I have purchased additional ones for gifts and they are extremely well liked!

I bought these for some nice variety in practical lighting, motivated lighting, and some hair light. The color temperature selection isn’t very sophisticated, but for $9.90, I couldn’t be happier with what they do. I’ve used them as key and fill for small, intimate shooting as well. The CRI seems to be pretty high, but I can’t confirm without a meter.In addition to photo/video applications, I’ve also just used them for a work light when in my racks and need to spot something and while making food at night outside on my grill. It’s way brighter than my wall sconce outside my garage and the light is very clean. The little magnetic clip is about as handy as can be. I’ll definitely get some more. They’re really great.

I love this little tube light! I put the magnetic mounting bracket onto my homemade laptop stand lol and it works awesome. It has 3 color temps and a brightness adjustment. I'd take a guess and say the lower temp is around 2000k or so, then the highest temp is probably around 5500k or so, then it has an in between that's maybe 3500k. Then it has a flashing SOS function at the end. You just tap the end to change color temps and once your on the one of your choosing you can push the top button and hold it in and they will either raise the brightness or lower it. Very convenient and as you can see from the picture if you need to use it elsewhere you just pull it right off the magnetic bracket and boom it's mobile. Oh and it's rechargeable which I love, I'm not sure how charged it was when I received it but it lasted around 3 days and that was from pretty much being on all day everyday at the high end temp on highest brightness. I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend

In terms of usefulness, this light gets high marks. The shape, the brightness, and the adjustable light temperature make it pretty useful.In terms of the control system, it is a hassle to use. You can't just switch this thing on and off. (At least I haven't found a way.) It has one button on the end that, with a long press, adjusts brightness. With a short press, it adjusts mode: bluish light, yellowish light, mixed light, blinking light, power off. That's right. Powering this light on and off requires you to press the button multiple times to cycle through all the modes. Then there is the fact that the button is a capacitive touch sensor. All you have to do to activate it is accidentally brush against it. If you're like me, you'll find yourself turning it on unintentionally as you handle it.This light is rechargeable. That is a good thing. It charges using USB. This is a good thing too except that, in this case, the product uses a proprietary connection so you still need a special cable. Any old USB cable will not do. Why do companies do this? As more and more items become rechargeable, I don't want to keep track of a special cable for each item.Finally—and this is why I've ordered and returned three of them—the condition in which they arrive is not good. In fact, I wonder if these are factory rejects since this same product is sold under multiple brand names. The two black ones I've ordered have both arrived scuffed and scratched. The higher-priced silver one was better though the printing on it was completely messed up. Whenever I see something really inexpensive that shows a lack of attention to detail *and* has a rechargeable lithium battery inside, it always makes me wonder how safe the product actually is. To be clear, I haven't seen anything to suggest it isn't safe...but I wonder. Bottom line: three strikes is more than I usually give a product that offers a bad first impression but the concept is good enough that I was willing to try again...and again. But no more.

This Led wand it's nice to have for emergency. You can have it on your car or in a backpack. It has a moderate power of light. Don't think can bright a room but it's close to a led desk lamp. The different modes are welcome. The on/off switch botton it's in the top side. It's very sensitive to the touch. Long press for dimming the intensity of the light and short press for switch between modes. It came with a power cable (not micro USB) and a magnet mount very useful.A tiny red led turn on during charging the wand and turn off when it's fully charged. Has a 2000 mAh lithium battery and Max brightness it's 200 lumens (specs from the box).You can be creative with the light for photography or video but remember it's not very bright but enough to help you.I give 4 star so far because the power cable it's not micro usb do don't loose it.

very bright (excellent) - ALPHA HOME 40 LED Portable USB Rechargeable Light-I bought this LED light when it was on sale at amazon for what seemed like half its usual price. This light is great value for money when on sale.-The build quality of this USB powered rechargeable LED light is excellent. This light has an aluminum housing. The diffuser over the LEDs hides the light's hot spots. The light's color temperature is adjustable from warm to cool, as is its brightness.-This LED light is far, far, brighter than I expected.-If you see this light on sale, it provides a great value and has many potential uses/applications.
