Confidence!
This cast shoe is perfect! The one I was sent home with was too big, sloppy fit, and not very safe. This cast shoe fits great! I’m much more stable walking and don’t worry about this shoe slipping off. Peace of mind for me, great find.

Great shoe for protecting bandaged feet without extra pressure, but may not be easy to adjust due to soft plastic.
I bought two of these (Small) to wear over bandages for lymphedema - they are roomy enough for my foot + padding + bandages, but adjustable enough that they stay on when I just have a sock. (I normally wear a women's size 7 or 7.5.). Because the shoe is so open, it hasn't caused any pressure issues on my feet, which has been a problem with other shoes. There is a tread pattern on the bottom so the shoe does get some traction, (I have not put these through any strenuous activity, though.) I've been wearing these daily for about a month, and found that they were a great solution for me.When sizing, it's important to remember that these are designed to go over a cast or bandages, so they are very roomy by design - and there is no "left" or "right", so they are pretty much the same width along the foot, so they can accommodate either foot shape. There are other sites that list measurements, and other commenters have also noted these - the Small fits up to a 10" long foot (the shoe itself is a bit longer), 4" wide. There is an X-Small size available, but if the measurements from other sellers online are correct, the 9" length and 3.5" width would be a bit too small for me - especially if I had anything bulky on my feet. (It looks to me like each size is 1" larger, 0.5" wider than the one smaller - but I can't confirm as I only own the Small size.) For those concerned with sizing, it appears that the manufacturer (Darco) is making a newer model that includes actual length measurements - but that shoe is a different design than this one, so there's no way to know if those sizes will apply to this.I kept my rating to four stars, though, because the "adjustable" stops that hold the elastic in place (these are light grey on the model of the shoe that I purchased) are made of very soft plastic... it is very easy to strip out the plus-shaped holes on the inner part of these stops (this is the part that unscrews to loosen the grip on the elastic - you can use a large Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and tighten, as long as the holes aren't stripped). On the second pair I bought, all six of these had been overtightened and the holes stripped completely - I needed two sets of pliers and some elbow grease to convince these to loosen their grip and let me adjust the length of the elastics.

Doesn't fit correctly
It is unusable and can't be returned. I should've paid attention to the non returnable part. The sizing chart is totally not accurate. Way too big.

Runs large
Good quality shoe, however runs large in size. I bought this for my 8 year old son. He wears a shoe size 5, and I purchased the small. I should have bought extra small, but they do not allow returns. Purchase your size carefully. If they allowed exchanges, I would have given them a 5 star review...

Great traction - but weak ties to keep shoe together
This shoe over my cast worked great but the first time I tried to put it on my cast the strings broke on both sides. I used a zip tie on each side to keep the shoe on. But it was much better than what the orthopedic doctor provided.

Worked well
I survived a major 3 day music festival in this thing with a lot of walking and crowds involved. To summarize, it's a heavy duty plastic boot with grooved bottoms, a padded footbed and shock cord straps tighteners.I first received and it seemed too big w/ my toes no where near the end. I looked at the manufacturer's pictures and that seemed by design. I can attest that stubbing the shoe on something doesn't transfer the shock to the cast. The fit was also a little loose. There weren't really any instructions, but I figured out that the cord holders can be adjusted with a phillips head screw driver from the inside. I shortened the slack w/ knots, but the type of cord could have been cut + a flame to seal ends. The festival had dirt and dust. As expected, the shape kept some of that in. It was pretty easy to clean w/ some wet wipes and dried quickly.
