Awesome Tactical Flashlight AND/OR laser clamp!! Very nice craftsmanship, works on my BUSHMASTER AR, S&W 45, GLOCK(s) & MP-5! Octagon belly looks sharp VS other regular olé rounded bellies..

Good product. It might have been the picatinny rail I have, but it almost didn't fit. Had to unbolt the clamp the force it back together so the bolts would thread. Other than that it works great!

Feels solid. Holds my little Harbor Freight LED flashlight perfectly. For the money, it's a great purchase.

Used to attach a light to a home defense weapon. Very good construction for an inexpensive mount. Fits well on an Sd9VE

I bought this for one of my tactical rifles. Though only three people have reviewed this up to this point in time, it received 5 stars and the price was definitely right, so I took a chance. In parallel, I purchased a UltraFire 7W 200LM Mini flashlight (btw, a nice product - this is my 2nd one) to use with this mount. At its widest base, the flashlight is just shy of 1", so it seemed like it would be a good fit - all for for all under $14 (w/ free prime shipping). Additionally, these items was teamed up in one of those "frequently bought together" Amazon up-sell posts, so I figured (hoped) that these would be compatible.When the items arrived, I soon discovered that the flashlight was not going to fit into the ring. I ended up using snips to cut the mount in between where the picatinny rail sides run parallel. Fortunately, the middle ring is flexible and not fully connected to the other side, so it did make trimming easier. However, it was some redneck engineering I did not expect to be doing. Needless to say, I was able to fit the flashlight after the modification.The mount is snug and seems to be functioning correctly, but until I shoot the rifle with it attached, I am going to refrain from giving this item another star.

This works really well but it can be a pain to mount properly and you need to take extra care not to cross thread or strip the aluminum threads.Very easy to do.This is the same mount you get with the better made but cheap Chinese 1 inch Lasers and Tactical Flashlights.

Crap, It broke

All of the other reviews about this needing an exact fitting flashlight are unfortunately true. Being in denial, I purchased a WAYLLSHINE® Zoomable Scalable CREE LED 3 Mode 200 Lumen 150 Yard Long Range Red Light Flashlight Red Hunting Light Tactical Flashlight Red Light Torch For Fishing Hunting & Detector. Actual diameter was 1.02 inch and it was not going to slide in.Taking the advice of another reviewer I took my snips to the bottom of it. Picture attached. Could have used a cutoff wheel on my dremel to make it a little cleaner, but was feeling lazy.Flashlight went in with minimal force after minor modification. Have the light mounted to a boosted board and it stays secure despite a lot of vibration from rough pavement.Giving this 4 stars since the price was right, however the manufacturer should consider cutting out the slots from the factory.
