ACDelco Gold TF323 Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit

This review is for: ACDelco TF323This is the metal framed filter (which i prefer over the plastic ones) for the "deep pan" - if your pan has a flat bottom, it is shallow pan, if it is not flat, it's the deep pan, or so I have been advised.I do not dare remove/replace the plastic plug that the filter presses into any more- i heard that if you score the machined surface they snap in to that could lead to serious problems - and why/how would that thing wear out anyways?Just wish GM had put a drain plug on these trannies - the replacement pans sold on here that have drain plugs all have issues - cheap/flimsy, not stamped properly (lots of leaks reported) etc. I tried to install a drain generic plug from NAPA but could not find a spot that it would fit at without interfering with tranny parts/ops.

despite what Amazon says, this does *not* fit the T4 EuroVan. unfortunately I did not have need for it until well after the return period had passed.

This was a great buy and a perfect fit. There were no issues installing the filter and gasket. And best of all there are no leaks. My 2001 VW Beetle GL 2.0L AEG is very happy now.

was shown to fit for 2003 Eurovan, but does not at all.Had to use the old gasket, but did'nt get it tight anymore.So I have to order a new tranny kit again including oil.lot of money for nothing.

Worked great in a 1998 2.0 Beetle Transmission. Looks identical to the original, and no problems with the gasket so far. :)

This filter kit does not fit on a 2000-2003 Eurovan. The gasket has to have 5 fastening pints !!!
