Susan Bates Needles Bent Tip Steel #13 & #16

I LOVE the smaller of the two needles in this set. I use them for Amigurumi. It's tip is making it easy to move in and out of the piece I am working on. It's got a large enough eye to accommodate up to worsted weight yarn, but it is small enough to get between tight stitches. It's not sharp, but it is pointy enough to go into a stitch allowing me to place parts precisely where I want them vs having to place them between stitches. I don't have much use for the larger needle but I haven't found any other way to buy the smaller size by itself. I have bought this set multiple times - not because of any quality issues - just because I love them and I have lost some to the ADHD gods OR by enthusiastic gifting to other crafters.

I love these for stitching together my Amigurumi (crocheted toys). The steel is sturdy. The two sizes are useful for different sized pieces. The bent tips help reduce hand pain/fatigue.

These are the perfect needles for weaving in ends after changing yarn or finishing a project. The bent needles are the best. They are sturdy and I've used them for years. A must!

I wondered what all the fuss was about with a curved needle. Got these. They are just fine for whatever knitting or crocheting you do. However, I didn't like the curve. Used to the straight needles. Easier to weave in stitches.

These are brilliant for crochet and knit project finishing. The bend is ideal; I will have to buy more should I ever misplace these.

The small vent needle is my favorite! It helps get into small spaces! I use it on all of my crochet items

Totally necessary for me, once I got used to it a perfect way to handle the ends of yarn in any project. I treasure them and try not to lose them!

Brilliant for stitching crocheted toys together. Being steel, I haven't bent one yet which I tend to do! Bit of a wait but worth it. Very happy.

The slight bend really helps maneuver the needle through tight spaces, especially helpful for amigurumi. I do wish there was an even smaller and/or more bent size for making tiny amigurumi keychains, but for what this product is advertised as, it's good. Stitch markers for scale in the photo. The holes are easy to thread, even fluffy yarn. These do not feel like they would bend with use.
