I am 53 years young. I have been experiencing joint pain in my hands and feet for the last few years. I know how important collagen is to aging women, but never thought to start taking it. I saw a commercial about this particular product so I decided to do more research. Alaya has all 5 types of collagen including Glucosamine with Chondroitin, which I was already taking. After reading the many Amazon customer reviews, I decided to take advantage of the Prime Day deal and ordered the unflavored one. I added it to my cup of coffee this morning. Contrary to one of the reviews I read, it didn’t change the taste at all!!! I use a Keurig, so I added a scoop of the powder to my mug along with my 2 sugar cubes before starting the brewer. It mixed together very well - added my creamer last. Delicious!! Hopefully I get the results I’m looking for!!

I tried another brand of collagen before buying Alaya. The difference is like day / night. Alaya dissolves easily (I use it in my tea each morning). There is absolutely no flavor change to my tea. I've only been using it for about 12 days, but I feel that I see some improvement in skin & nails. Joints seem to have less discomfort as well. I love this product!! I put two scoops in my to go coffee every morning. It dissolves easily and it’s flavorless so I still get a delicious cup of coffee. My skin has improved and I’ve noticed improvements with my thinning hair. It doesn’t upset my sensitive stomach either. Being in my 50’s, my overall aches and pains have diminished too! Highly recommend giving it a try.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using this product for months after switching from another brand. However on the last order thought the scoop provided look bigger and it was as this last container didn’t last me for 40 servings. It was 31 servings. Decided to measure out grams by scoop as indicated on package used a full scoop it’s over 11 grams where it should by 9.6 grams. Noticed there was a line just below the lip the the scoop. Either you need to give better instructions label regarding the scoop level or start providing a scoop that’s actually 9.6 grams

This works great. My skin is glowing, my hair and nails are looking healthier. I also have noticed a reduction in joint pain. It took about 3 weeks to start noticing.

I’ve tried other brands and I keep going back to Alaya because it is in an easy- open container with a scoop and it dissolves instantly in my coffee. They also make many variations for different purposes. It is pricey.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because of the different kinds of collagen in one product. I already take egg shelll membrane in a capsule for joint health.

The only downside is you have to make sure you get the flavor, or unflavored one of your choice. The product itself is great!
