Q: Is it me or does $5,728.00 for a GPU seem like a ripoff?

The RTX 6000 is far superior value, but ripoff is all dependent on your workload. The API I work with requires enormous amounts of VRAM, and cannot yet be parallelized in a compute cluster, so the RTX 8000 is really the only answer. Also keep in mind, cost scaling is different for professional systems. $6000 is a lot of money for me to spend on a GPU, but for my company it takes a 24 hour workload and turns it into a 2 hour workload, which saves FAAAR more than $6000 in my salary over the course of 1 year alone.

Couldn't run Minesweeper

Im sorry but if you want to play the epic game that is our lord savior Minesweeper then you are out of luck. The card just couldn't handle it. fps was less then 1fps and it just failed to run it 90% of the time.It even couldn't run Crysis 3 on low settings either so if you are wanting a card that can run that then well your out of luck. Worst £6k I've purchased in my life.

I can run Roblox at under 10fps!Truly amazing piece of technology.My grandson said that he can run his "Sims 4?" at under 1fps now, at least now my credit card won't be used for more Roblox addons.
