Travel in style and ease. We offer the newest designed Non-Brush DC12V ceiling fans for your Recreation Vehicle or Mobile Home with 17 degree pitch blade arm and 6 reversible speeds. Non-Brush Motor Characteristics includes a: three phase motor with high reliability DC brushless enclosure. The motor has a permanent magnetic rotor along with static magnetic rotor position detection using three-phase 3Hall a starting position. It meets the requirements for low voltage starters and IC drivers with locking protection. Additional functions include a thermal overload and overheat protection, supportive positive, and reversible speeds. It includes soft start circuitry to avoid peak currents when starting via the drive circuit battery. Motor load is optimized to run at high efficiency with no more than 12W of power.

Bought this for my cabin, which is completely off grid. No, the instructions arent very clear but the wiring is labeled very well. Installation was straight forward, i dont know what the commenter meant when he stated problems with things not working as my performed flawlessly as soon as I hooked it to power. Even the remote works well.It is a tad noisy at full speed, but i think any flat board blade would be just as noisy pushing air around, which this unit does quite well. Even so, the noise level at that speed is tolerable.Performance wise in power consumption: disconnected batteries from the solar for a day just to see, started at 12.67v at 5am when i left for work. Unit was running on third level so roughly 50% of its potential. Upon return home 12 hours later, batteries were sitting at 12.54v I thought this excessive until I realized I had also left an inverter running (100w to keep my laptop charged)Conclusion:money very well spent, good delivery time and I am very happy with the appearance as well.

Good fan- 6 speeds.
Fit in our '98 American Eagle. Good quality and Global Electric outstanding customer service. We had an issue with the fan motor and they sent replacement right away. The new motor is quiet, which had to be, since it's right over our bed. We also liked the 6 speeds, not just high and low like most fans out there. FYI- you have to hardwire the wall switch - the remote won't work without it. We thought it was either or, but not the case. The remote works off the wall controller not the fan itself.

Great little RV fan
This fan took me about an hour to install total in my toy hauler 5th wheel RV. I ran new 18/4 wire to the fan from the junction where the light switch is. It was easier than I expected to run wires through the ceiling then I made a small hole inside a cabinet in the ceiling so it would be hidden, then made another hole in the side wall and ran it down to behind the main 12v light switch that I had pulled out. It has worked perfectly out of the box, no complaints. It does have a slight hum to it, quieter than a 110v house fan I would say. All of the functions, forward reverse and the 6 speeds. I would recommend it to any RVer. I plan on getting another one for the bedroom.Pros- Great little quiet fan that is simple to installCons- Expensive, no light associated with the fan

Decent fan, noisier than I had hoped.
Easy enough to install, but has a pretty loud 'electric motor' cyclic whine to it. Love the remote and how low profile it is. It does move a lot of air on any of the 6 speeds, so it if didn't have the noise, it would definitely be a 5 star item. Not sure if maybe it's just the one I got or if it's all of them.

Very quiet, ...sometimes.
I installed this fan in my 5th wheel trailer to stir up the air when using a wall-mounted heater. The wall-mounted heater is wonderful when camping without 110V power. Batteries don't last too long when using the furnace. The downside of the wall-mounted heater is the heat collects at the ceiling, while your toes get frost bitten. Hence the ceiling fan.I like that there are six speeds available.I even like the remote control, which I considered ridiculous when I first saw it.It is pretty darned quiet on low speed, which was important to me.But it is NOT QUIET when the coach is plugged into shore power! Apparently the higher charging voltage upsets the little motor's sensibilities, making it growl at any speed.Being as I frequently camp in USFS camps and others without electrical power, I have rated the fan at four stars. But the noise it makes is pretty obnoxious when the power is on.

Happy with purchase
I've had this fan in my RV for about 2 months now and I've been very happy with it. My RV tech had no problems installing it. It is fairly snug to the ceiling but I did get my hand caught in it a couple of times at first until I got use to it.

This fan works great, mounted it in the bed room of my Grand Design travel trailer. Ceiling mounted the control so I use the remote to operate.

Almost as good as A/C!
This 12VDC fan is now above my bed in the coach. It really moves air well and is effectively silent doing so. Installation was simple according to the tech who did so. He really liked the way the whole thing went together. Remote control is simple and intuitive. Don't sweat, get one for your RV!
