**2021 UPDATE - 3 YEARS LATER AND STILL A CHAMP!!!**Original Post: I recently purchased this ball retriever and it has already paid itself back in the amount of golf balls i am able to retrieve. Overall, the product stands at about 44 inches collapsed. From the photos I’ve added, you can see it in the center compartment of my golf bag, with a few inches longer in length than my 3 iron. The 12ft range is perfect to grab you ball, or any others that are in ponds or lakes that are usually out of reach from others. I picked up 12 balls the first day in use.Pros:-telescopic opening is easy to maneuver and handle-cup the ball by placing the basket on top of the ball and then pull up in the same direction. This allows for the metal mechanism to stop the ball from falling out-lightweight, durable materialCons:-The color is in fact what it looks like in the image, it is a brighter goldish tint. I’m not the biggest fan of it, but I’m not picky. This will stand out like a sore thumb when you use it or have it stored

I bought this to replace my 8’ ball retriever that finally broke. That last one collapsed to 24”. This one is almost twice that length collapsed!I suppose it doesn’t matter that it doesn’t fold up smaller since it’ll be among the clubs in my bag, but dang...I went ahead and stretched it out to its full length of 12’ and it seems fine. Looks like it’ll pick up balls pretty well, too.It’s a pretty gold color and appears to be well made. All in all, a decent investment.

I like it. 4 stars because if extended its full length, the last section of this telescoping pole is pretty thin and a bit delicate. I don’t extend that last section unless I have to.Picks up balls easily, once you get the hang of itJust watch that last section and you should be fineCheers

It has a strange setup to retrieve ball. I guess you have to get used to it but it is not anything like my last ball retriever.

Very well made retriever. It's extra long, but still sturdy fully extended. I've found it a little easier to simply turn it over 180 degrees after trapping the ball than simply lifting it as is, but I've had success with the latter as well. This has saved me losing probably a half dozen of my own balls so far (I've been in the water too much lately), and I've grabbed a good dozen others. It pays for itself.

Love it! Very easy to get the hang of using and extends way more than I thought I would need, but I did and it worked! It is a bit flimsy at full extension, but not horribly. Unless you're trying to dig a buried ball out of solid dirt, it will work at any length.

Very good device, easy to use. Only purchased for less than one month, already pick up more balls than I paid for this retriever. Longer than other retriever and can pick up balls other retriever can't reach. Up till now, no complain. One thing you need aware: if it is at its full length, it is a little hard to target the ball. You need a little practice or patience to accurately locate your retriever head.

Very good retriever and very reasonably priced. Luckily I have only had to use it once so far, and it did the job. As I improve my game, hopefully this will be collecting dust in my bag. :)I recommend this product.

Después de unos cuantos usos, ya no funciona muy bien. El sistema de bisagra se aflojó y no recoge fácilmente las pelotas. Creo que hay mejores productos que este aunque sean un poco mas caros

Ya he sacado 60 bolas aunque es difícil cuando están lejos
