Description
- For GM vehicles equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPM) of 315 or 433 MHz, a "procedure for re-learning the sensor" should be performed after tyre rotations, the replacement of the receiver module of the door lock of the remote control or the replacement of the tyre pressure sensor.This special re-learning procedure can also be carried out in EL-44 models.
- The tyre pressure sensor on and after 2012 models can be read, only with some specific diagnostic tools.
- Before tyre pressure control system normally works correctly, the body control module will record the identification information of each position on the tire pressure sensor; and use the following methods to read the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor. Please refer to the specific methods as follows:
- Step 1 - Step into tilted mode Put the gear shift lever on "P" Put the power switch on "ON" Enter the interface of the tyre pressure display by DIC DIC shows "Press Set/Ctrl to relearn" Press "Set / Ctrl" The turning signal lights up for 3 seconds and the beep sounds twice to enter the learning mode
- Step 2 - Read tire pressure sensor information Start from the front left wheel, Place the J-46079 antenna or the EL-50448 diagnostic tool against the valve core position and near the edge of the tyre side The El-50448 tyre pressure tool starts with the start switch. It is successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn sounds once
