Very sturdy with 10 inch AR500 plates, could easily hold heavier. Easy to set up, break down, and store. Easier to store than the H shaped metal stands.

the range I visit is 1.5 hrs away. great that i can assemble this at the site and disassemble while in transportation. just make sure the base's 2x4 is longer, after 1 shot on steel plate the thing toppled over, by no means this is the fault of this product, just my 2x4 should be cut longer for more stability.

I use them for solar lights that I want to move around. Much more sturdy than a pole in a 5 garden bucket with rocks.

These products are well made and delivered as advertised. No surprises. I had high hopes for this particular item with a 1/2" AR500 silhouette steel target. And it was great! Right up to the point where my nephew managed to put a 660gr .50BMG round right through the top and blew the spring-mount away. Yes, a 660gr .50BMG will penetrate 1/2" AR500 steel.Nevertheless, I will buy again and highly recommend.

This is a good option vs buying a heavier all metal or AR500 steel type stand. It’s lightweight and easier to carry. Of course as I type this, 2x4 are back on the rise over $7.75 each when they use to be a pre-covid price of below $3 so take that into account too. Regardless, you will likely only need 2 8 ft boards unless you buy longer.I had no issues with fit like some have. My suggestion is if it doesn’t look NIB, return it.Last advice is do not cut your leg stand boards shorter than 2 ft. You need extra stability and go longer if you put a heavy silhouette on top. I only bought these for small paddles and wouldn’t advise it being used on something too heavy due to potential rocking unless you further stabilize the legs.

These 2x4 legs are very sturdy and easy to assemble. They come with all the mounting hardware and spacer which locks the stand up 2x4 in place. The metal is heavy and seems to be good quality. The welds look well made. The screw that is welded on the base to tighten the spacer is tack welded. I wish it was welded all around but its not a biggy. For now at least. I found that the 2x4’s have to be very straight. Any slight warp will cause issues to fit well in the slots. I would like if the spacer nut came with a butterfly screw rather than an allen head. Allen key is included in package but could be easily lost at the range, during assembly/disassembly or transport. All in all, I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I do recommend these 2x4 target bases. Now to test them out. They seem like they will hold up.

This is a great product that I highly recommend. I have purchased two of these so far. They hold up very well, to include the main screw that is still exposed once the steel is installed. I have shot that a few times and it is perfectly fine. This is very affordable for the quality. I will continue to purchase these as I continue to get more steel targets and would highly recommend.

This is a great bracket for temporary setups - you do not need to permanently mount this to the 2x4.I have the top cross-bolt permanently installed in the bracket; I just slip the bracket over the top of the 2x4 so that the cross-bolt is resting on top of the board, I insert the metal shim, tighten the Allen screw, and that's it.The target this holds has taken quite a few hits, yet no apparent damage to the carriage bolt (though I would have appreciated a spare).

After only 15 shot at 100m of surplus 7.62x54R the bolt face snap clean. Really disapointed.
