As an Officer, these restraints are perfect. They have the advantage of locking the civilians wrists much closer than other handcuffs. The diameter of the cuffs allow for assuring firm secure control of smaller wrists like juveniles. The hinged design is far better for safety of the Officer and the restrained civilian. The black color is better for reducing glare and civilian intimidation. Also the advantage of design that locks the civilians palms facing outward making attempts to turn palms inward impossible.

They need to be called police cufflinks again, because that sounds way fancier than handcuffs and way less... police-y. Full review is, this product is like stepping back into 1897 except you're allowed to have more than one key now, apparently, which is very neat. Jeepers, Department, you got a set of cuffs that came with TWO keys? Fancy Schmancy! (Giggles in 1897.) (Also OSHA probably had something to do with that in ****EMPHASISES THIS*** 1971.) I managed to bridge my hand cufflinks and unbridge them. Smooth key entry, smooth key turn, barely any ZERO risk of skin contact. Appreciated highly. NO POKEY. Lol. It's a shame Smith and Wesson can't release safety cufflinks because....."orange handcuffs". WAIT. DO I HAVE TO SAFETY ORANGE THESE ACTUAL REAL HANDCUFFLINKS SO PEOPLE DON'T THINK I'M A COP. HOLY HECK I'm ORANGING THE *Expletive Deleted* out of these. They're still the same ones but who the heck buys handcuffs like this except to continue the 90s where we all played 90s cops and robbers? (Note, I am too old to play cops and robbers. This is a serious review.) The black handcufflinks would probably best be placed in a white area, because they are a really nice black. Oranging the *Expletive deleted* out of these once I figure out an artistic place. Review complete :)! Thank you Smith and Wesson for giving me a beautiful triple set of crafted hand cufflinks. This is as made in USA as it gets with the product involved.

Hard to beat these cuffs. I personally prefer hinged cuffs over the normal chained ones. Hard to beat the S&W quality. I have not had an issue with these. I will say, I like to drop some oil in when they are new, as well as working the double lock action several times. Otherwise, you might look stupid cuffing someone then not being able to work the double lock. It has a tendency to be very stiff when new. I cannot use that to knock this item, that just shows me that I am getting a brand new, quality piece.

The cuffs perform as expected. They aren't the smoothest but do work. Build quality seems good. The double lock is not as easy to use as others. The issue is rust rust rust. Even when I clean and oil them once a week... man do they rust. The finish is not good.

Excellent so far. Smooth operation, good function, locks work well.

Pretty solid cuffs. Managed to get a few nicks on the finish but nothing deep. You can tell they are made with good steel. I'd recommend these for situations where a person is more likely to resist arrest.

Wir haben uns die Handschellen gekauft, da wir schon andere haben, welche wir aber getrost als Spielzeug abhaken wollen. Bei diesen jedoch war schon beim auspacken klar, das zeugt von Wertarbeit. Keine Scharfen kannten, eine Arretierung die hält, leichtes öffnen und schließen, hein hakeln und ein sehr stabiles Gelenk. Farblich in Schwarz...ist mal was anderes. Beim ersten Testen merkte man sofort den Unterschied. Nichts drückte, quetschte oder klemmte. Wenn die Arretierung vorgenommen wurde, bleibt die größe wie sie eingestellt ist und durch das Steife Glied ist ein verwinden oder das selbständige Ausbrechen mit schlüssel so gut wie unmöglich. (kommt eben auf die Gelenkigkeit drauf an der Person, Handgröße und wie sie angelegt sind).... DIE SIND KEIN KINDERSPIELZEUG.... uneingeschränkt Empfehlenswert. Waren zwar etwas teurer, aber das Geld sind sie wert.

Exactamente como se indica en la descripción, uno de los cierres de seguridad se atascaba un poco, pero después de usarlo varias veces ya funcionaba bien. Llego antes de lo esperado.
