For MY needs, PERFECT....why this is the type you want...or not
First, If you are sending a package to another country, would I use this? NO. I would use shipping tape. Here's why I like these for 99.9% of what I use tape for. PLUSES: Clarity- it's not the OLD scotch tape I grew up with. Kind of yellowish, didn't stick that well. It's very clear. Grip (stickability :-) - Yes, good enough grip for most things, but while it sticks, if I accidentally tape something and it's a bit crooked, I can usually ease it off and restick it (and THEN I press it down) Price - OK get these while on sale! I got three rolls for about six bucks which will likely last me a year! Uses - it's strong enough to fix a rip on a piece of paper or even a lightweight file. I recently used it to stick a note to recycle bin I share to remind them that bins wouldn't be picked up the next day. It's cold, it's winter here (no snow) and it still stuck well. I can use to stick notes on my door or mailbox for postal carrier. BOTTOMLINE: For my everyday tape needs, would DEFINITELY get these rolls again. NOTE this ARE just the rolls, you need a dispenser.

Excellent but a bit over the top
Super sticky and strong, best used for tasks requiring very, very strong binding. Otherwise, go with magic tape, which is suitable for most purposes. Gripe: why can’t 3m get it together to manufacture a decent cutting edge? The edge on the dispenser is dull, and it is a pain to cut off a strip. I have taken to using a small knife for this purpose, which is rather cumbersome.

Will Only Use Scotch Super Hold
Will not waste time or money trying something comparable. This has been the go-to tape for... well, forever! Will use nothing else for gift wrapping -- none of that frosty finish for me. The plus factor -- it holds for packaging like full size packaging tape. It's strong and perfect, with chemical smell. Since you get what you pay for, I've learned not to use so much! :)

The quality is very good!
This is a good tape. It's strong, and although it's basically transparent tape, it's thicker and more tear resistant than the others. It also has good grip on paper or cardboard. It's what I want. The price is very cheap. It's very affordable and the quality is very good!

Sometimes it is difficult to tear from dispenser. Other than that, it works just fine.

the best multi purpose tape
this is some quality tape. it’s sticky enough hang things on walls (i’ve used it for fake flowers and vines) but not too much that it will damage the walls. it’s easy to take off and i've used it for years, even in my college dorms. it’s completely transparent and clearer in comparison to the regular green edition. it really is great for most things and i would highly recommend it.

It’s very sturdy.
I’m moving soon so I’m getting my bead stash fixed so that the containers don’t open in transit. So far I really like the way it works for me. It works much better than the regular tape I use. It’s really see through and feels thicker than the normal Scotch tape. I can reposition it easily if I haven’t pressed on it. It is a little harder to write on but it’s sturdiness makes up for that. What else can you say about tape.

This is the first time to buy this adhesive tape, the amount of tape is very sufficient, quality is very good, sticky, and the same as the publicity, mainly affordable price, used for packaging can be used for a long time, strong and not easy to break, good quality, affordable and easy to use.

4 stars rather than 5 as not quite a good as my balloon tape but that is £30 a roll where this is a lot less so in terms of value this is great
