I received this honey as I was 10 days into suffering a summer cold, and had been using a mixture of traditional and homeopathic medicine to mitigate symptoms. I feel like this Manuka honey is doing a solid job supporting my recovery. I noticed right away that is was more effective at quieting my cough than standard honey (or dayquil). The next morning my symptoms were improved overall, and now two days into using the the honey, I am moving in the right direction. I've also been applying it to a rather nasty cardboard cut on my son, and it is healing nicely as well.Flavor wise, it is truly complex. It primarily tastes like honey, but there is far more depth. At times, it reminds me a bit of sorghum. It is unique and certainly pleasant.A final word of caution: When searching for Manuka honey, do your research. There is essentially counterfeit Manuka out there. This particular honey carries the hexagonal, black and yellow mark of the UMF testing authority as well as information that allows you to track the batch's testing and potency. When investing in medicinal honey such as this, both are welcome assurances that you are getting what you are expecting.

I bought this honey after a cousin recommended that I try this on my mother who has stage 5 Parkinson. My mother has swallowing problem due to her late stage Parkinson, congested lungs and constantly on antibiotic because she suffered numerous Urinary Tract infection. After giving her a teaspoon of this honey with Green Tea on a daily basis, I noticed her swallowing problem improved that she was able to eat soft food and no longer on liquid diet, she rarely has chest congestion and able to understand her when she talks as it appears her throat is not as constricted as before. Her latest blood test showed she does not have UTI even when she is not on antibiotic. I am so impressed I have been telling everyone about this Manuka honey even to the nurse and doctor that visit my mother on a weekly basis. They are even surprised how my mother bounced back when a few weeks ago we were discussing whether to put my mother on feeding tube because she was not able to swallow any food or medicine. I did use UMF 20+ because in her condition, I am not sure anything lower will have this drastic positive effect.

My motivation for purchasing this product was information I learned that high grade Manuka honey could cure cysts. I had a pesky cyst for months and nothing I could do or Dr. prescription could heal outside of surgery. I was very frustrated and embarrassed. After reading about Manuka honey I was excited but hesitant because of high price. Finally I decided it would be worth the expense to ease my condition and made the purchase. Within a couple weeks of application every day the cyst is going away! I’m amazed and very happy with my purchase the curative power of this Manuka 20+ in incredible, I only wish I knew about this sooner. Do your homework and when you realize you ready to buy Manuka trust this brand as it is tested and has worked for me. I’ve tried lesser UMF rated brands and only found the high UMF and this brand to be the one that has worked! I would recommend this brand.

When I ordered this, I didn't know much about Manuka honey. I thought it was pretty pricey, so I was really curious to try it out myself. Also decided to do a little research on it and was pleased to find that it is supposed to have some great healing properties and can even be applied topically on cuts! If you haven't looked into it, you should definitely look it up. If you HAVE already learned about the benefits and the UMF ratings, then you should order this. 20+ UMF is legit! And in my opinion it doesn't taste much different from other honeys I've had, but does work as a terrific all-natural sweetener. Had it in a cup of tea last night and then with toast and peanut butter this morning. Never want to get sick or have a cut, but super excited to have this on hand if/when that does happen!

I have tried a few different Manuka honeys. This one and Bee's Inn to me are the best-- in taste and in results. I was just starting to catch a cold/sinus infection. Two days of taking this honey by the tablespoon and I was well. My co-worker who had the same bug as I did is now sick with Bronchitis/respiratory infection. I firmly believe this honey helped curb the infection and stop it in it's tracks. It also has done wonders for cuts and burns in our house, as well as healed mouth ulcers faster than anything else.

Mild sweet taste. Definitely helping heal my gut issues.

I was extremely impressed with this honey. It has a smooth creamy texture to it and even my kids loved it! They did say it had a small after taste but they just ate it straight out of the jar. Mix this with some hot tea and its so delicious!! It is also good mixed in with oatmeal and has just enough sweet flavor. A great replacement for sugar and much healthier!

This Manuka Honey is extremely high quality. The labeling makes it easy to track where the honey came from and its authenticity. To me, it tastes extremely sweet on its own, which makes it a great addition to any drink you want to sweeten naturally. I am looking forward to using it when I get my next cold, as I have heard great things about it’s healing properties. That said, it is pretty pricy for such a small jar, and I’m not sure if the 20 UMF makes it much better than the 10 or 15 UMF, which is cheaper. All in all, I would recommend this honey.
