Red Carpet Manicure Pro 45 Starter Kit

Contains most of the things you need both to put LED UV polish on and to take it off. The light is really handy and works very well I especially like the 45 second timer so I don't have to use a clock. The polish with the kit is a nice red and everything else works as it is supposed to just make sure you use thin coats and use the UV light between coats.The people who say it doesn't work are not really doing it right. I never wear polish in general but in my job my nails were always breaking because they were so dried out due to alway being wet etc. but after using this polish for a month they have grown out and are actually looking decent for the first time in a lot of years. Other polish lasts maybe one day for me but this stuff can last up to two weeks, though when you are in the growing out phase I suggest doing it once a week after they get a bit more grown out they have been lasting longer and they to not chip for the most part. I've decided it may not be necessary to remove it since it seems like that process is kind of bad for my nails and I have to immediately put it back on to avoid issues so I'm going to try just backfilling since the company says that is fine and that you just have to go through the steps again.This polish is probably not for the person who wants to change their color everyday since the whole process of taking it off and putting it on takes at least an hour, but at the end of that time it is completely dry and never do you get issues with it being tacky but you must remember to follow the steps. It works best if you do four fingers, two thumbs, and four fingers to completion in that order. So don't do all fingers at once finish four, then finish the thumbs, then finish the other four I found this to be the best plan. One other thing I found out is that you can add other polish (non gel) on top and take it off normally and it seemed to work the same as just putting nail polish on your nails, you can even remove it with nail polish remover and this stuff stays intact.Anyway enough about it hope it helps somebody.

I spent days searching for a DIY gel nail kit after my last crappy manicure at the salon. I got to the point where I couldn’t stand wasting my time and money when I knew I could do this myself! This kit is worth the price point. It was delivered quicker than anticipated (next day!) and everything was included and as described. It’s super easy to use and understand the directions. Follow each step, and you’ll have a beautiful manicure! I wanted more colors to choose from so I bought a set from Gellen and they’re also compatible with this set of products. Be careful to avoid getting any of the polishes (base coat, color and top coat) on your skin. I recommend buying a little eyeliner makeup brush with a fine tip to dip in the remover and clean up each nail around the cuticles before curing under the light. My first manicure lasted a week with no chipping or peeling and would have lasted longer but I wasn’t happy with my paint job so I removed it to re-do it and I’m super happy with my second attempt (pictured here.)

I purchased this manicure set several months about, 3-4 months now. So far, I can say it has been a great investment. Lamp is still working well and I still have some of the initial supplies left. My biggest complaint is that only 4 fingers fit in at a time, so it does take a long time to do my nails. I did purchase gellen nail polish which works great with the lamp and is great value for what you get.

I read good reviews of this product overall, so I decided to try it to save some $$ on the expensive gel manicures I indulge in at the salon. The kit arrived stinking of nail polish remover. One of the bottles had completely emptied in the box. Another was half full. The kit was supposed to come with a red gel polish--I got a pale orange shade instead. And the top coat was completely missing from the box. The instructions manual, which I felt I needed, never having done a home gel manicure before, was glued together from one of the spills. Amazon refunded my money on this purchase, which I appreciate greatly, but I would caution anyone considering this kit to buy it in person somewhere. I do not trust this third-party vendor AT ALL.

There is definitely a learning curve when using this product but after the 2nd try I got a result I could be happy with! Instructions were very clear and the products were easy to use. The polish that is included is very sheer so it requires more than two coats but the finished color is very pretty. I will definitely purchase more nail polish from this brand.

I got my first gel manicure just recently, when I was going to an event. Regular polish always chips for me within a day, but I was really impressed with gel polish. It was hard, made my nails stronger (while applied - they were weaker and more brittle once I took the polish off, but that's also true of regular nail polish for me) and lasted a week before starting to peel. What I wasn't impressed with was the job the manicurist did - my nails were very splotchy and uneven, with hard-as-rock drips in places. So I decided to get this kit, figuring I'd get the product I wanted and if it was poorly applied, at least it would be my own fault. So far, it's been great. It stays shiny and strong for a whole week. I even had one nail that had started to tear before polishing, so I put an extra coat of color on it and that's been enough to hold it together while it grows out. I used to polish my nails and then sit on the couch waiting for them to dry, thinking about all the things I'd rather be doing and how nail polish was clearly a tool of the patriarchy. (I'm kidding.) (A little.) Now I can go to the bathroom and unbutton my jeans immediately after applying! Can't say that about regular polish.

This purchase was a replacement, I’ve had the original one for 6 years and used it every 3weeks so when it eventually wore out I didn’t hesitate to replace it

This does NOT come with a UK plug socket,,,,, do not buy from here! All set to do my nails,,, even bought extra colours but now can't use tonight ! !Plus I saw in Harvey Nics in BIrmingham for £87 ,,,,, which would no doubt have UK socket !I am fed up ! My husband purchased for me as gift,,,,

CONTRARY TO WHAT OTHER REVIEWERS STATE THIS ITEM DOES NOT COME WITH A U.K PLUG ATTACHED.IT HAS AN ADAPTER WHICH CONVERTS FROM 2 PIN TO 3 PIN,NO EARTH CONNECTED,A USB LEAD PLUGS INTO THIS.Apart from that item seems satisfactory.
