I really liked the soft plastic handles. I seem to be able to keep holding on to hook easier.

This is a great, complete starter set. It has a fabulous range of hook sizes, with the addition of some of the larger sizes other sets don’t offer. It also includes stitch markers that I consider very necessary, a stitch/row counter, yarn needles and a tape measure.

Very comfortable

I haven't used these yet as I only just got them in, but I have a project I'll be starting soon. I'm an intermediate crocheted who's had the same 2 Susan bates hooks for the last 12 years.So far I'm very happy with this set, I received everything that was supposed to be included plus I got an extra stitch marker. There were some color differences from the product photo, the stitch markers received were not the exact colors pictured, and 2 of the hooks were differently colored. I also double checked the sizing on all the hooks with my jewelry calipers and all are correct. The hooks themselves could be a little more polished but they aren't rough at all. There's small holes at the bottom of the hooks and you can see the full hook inside the handle, so if the handles do come off I still have a full hook. The sizes are written in ink on the front which will come off with time, but they're also impressed into the back. The handles do seem like the type of plastic that could get sticky over time but some masking or painters tape will take care of that.The tapestry needles are heavy and really nice and the tube they come in closes really well so I don't have to worry about them spilling out. The stitch markers are awesome, I'd been using safety pins and paper clips. The tape measure seems a bit flimsy but I probably won't use it very often and the stitch counter was also a nice plus. I had no idea what it was in the picture and I've never used one so I'm excited to try it out. The bag it all comes in is just descent. The fabric is a little plasticy but it's thick and the zipper works really well.Over all for the price these are really good hooks that I would have paid $14 just by themselves to get the large sizes I need, but with everything that comes with it this would be a great set to get even if you wanna just try a d different handle style or material.

Best crochet hook set I’ve found for a good price too

These hooks have become my favorites to use for crocheting. Easy to hold, soft enough to be grippy and not hurt my hands, and the right sizes included for all my projects. The little accessories and zipper case were a bonus for me but I’m making use of everything. I had a gap of decades between crochet projects, and used the steel rod style hooks in my earlier days. These are a significant improvement over those earlier tools. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

My friend loves this set and now uses it all the time.

I have arthritis in my hands and I crochet a lot to keep them flexible. I was expecting these hooks to be more comfortable to use. Not sure that I will keep the set or return.

These hooks are a good purchase when using them the yarn and stitches-just glide through effortless and enjoyable to use makes learning how to crochet very easy use them all the time also the soft grip handles are great for arthritic hands. Would recomend them highly.
