Based on my comparison of budget camcorders under 90 dollars, this one takes the cake with a wide range of functions and practical options.Pros: lightweight, versatility with HD video recording and picture taking, intuitive to use and simple set up, fits generic camera screw top mounts and tripods, double battery packs, quality forward mics.Cons: video quality lower than high value cameras, no touchscreen lcd, does not include memory card or tripods/mounts.The camcorder would be a great choice for people looking to do record keeping, work related videos, school or classroom presentations, memo and transcripts, or simple surveillance.

Video is the clearest in 1080P mode2. If you want to shoot a hockey competition, then I suggest you choose 30FPS3. The lens of this camera is a fixed-focus lens, so it is impossible to shoot very close distances. The best focal length should be shooting 3 feet away. This is true for all fixed-focus lens cameras, and there is no complaint.4. Two batteries, I have been using it for two months. They are fully qualified for my job.Now as long as I am traveling, I will bring it. When you have multiple cameras, please believe that it is wise to choose the lightest one.

Video quality is really badFirst off, We have Vegas Pro but it isn't compatible. We had to Buy another program to convert the video into a program high tech program could read them. I am not sure why they want me to rate the touch screen it has no touch screen and if it is supposed to worse on them because it doesn't work. also you have to charge the batteries while they are connected to the camera which means you cannot charge the second battery while the other is in use. they battery runs dry fairly quickly so the above is a really poor thought on the manufacturers part. We are making it work because he needs something now for his job and we cannot wait for another order to come but save yourself the hassle this camera isnt thought out well

Asked for a cheap video camera for Christmas to make home videos with and this one is about as good as any other cheaper one on amazon will get you! I spent so much time looking at reviews on amazon and getting discouraged with the bad reviews. But I can definitely say for the price this camera does the trick! Decently happy with the picture resolution, battery life and sound. For my purposes of just making videos for memories it works perfectly! If you’re looking for something to use to start a YouTube channel or do something more professional I would recommend spending a couple hundred extra and going name brand because you will be sadly disappointed. But for the price this does what I had expected and I’m pretty happy with it

I used this camera first time yesterday when my daughter was in Memorial Day Parade. It was great because I just placed it in it’s carrying bag (comes with) and threw it in my purse and used it all day. It is compact, easy to hold, comes with 2 batteries, connection for viewing on TV, microphone, charger, carrying case, remote, more, and a way to record all your precious memories. It was so easy to use. Although it has 2 batteries, the one lasted me all day. I could take pictures or video. The best part was the quality of videos and pictures were amazing when we hooked it up to our TV last night to watch the videos and pictures with my daughter. Thank you! I will most definitely be using this video camera for years to come! Very impressed!

The media could not be loaded. At first glance I was extremely impressed with this camcorder. I couldn't believe how lightweight it was and it seemed to have every feature. The microphone is a nice add on although I have not done any sound testing. Let's be clear though. This is not a professional's camera and is clearly for first time users or users on a budget. This camera may do well if you put it on a tripod and do recordings where there is not much panning or zooming or need to move the camera. There are several affects you can apply and also different resolution settings for both camera mode and video mode. This is what I like about the camera:1. Very affordable for the specifications.2. Compact and lightweight3. Looks Nice4. Has a front light that can be turned on to record in low light situations5. Nice carry pouch with a belt loop.6. Comes with 2 batteries7. Is tripod mountableBear in mind my list of things that could be better on the camera may be forgiveable--at least some of them, given the price point. Here's what I didn't care for.1. The microphone plugs in under the screen making it inconvenient to turn on and off the camera without unplugging the mic (You turn on and off the camera by opening and closing the screen). I'd like to see a seperate plug that also controls tuning on and off the mic. Currently they are separate controls.2. The dust cover for the mic jack as well as the usb plug is really unneeded, just pull if off otherwise it too is just in the way.3. The screen is not a touch screen4. There is no lens cover5. Because it is so lightweight, it is hard to hold it steady and the anti-shake feature is of no help.6. The zoom function makes the image noticeably less clear, obviously a digital zoom and not an optical zoom.7. Controls are small for my medium size hands and require two handed operation to operate some buttons and to keep the camera steady.8. What you see on the screen and what get's recorded are not the same. The screen should be considered a "approximation" as to what total area is actually getting recorded.9. All of my videos freeze towards the end. This may be due to the memory card used although I purchased the card recommended by MELCAM and is of the same brand.10. Even though you get two battery packs, you can't charge one of them while the other is in use. They must charge while attached to the camera.

I liked the way the screen flipped to see yourself recording。 The quality is very good. It offers good color and sharp pictures. We packed and worth the money. This video camera comes with two batteries, it is awesome. The professional microphone works great as well, the sound recorded by this camera is good. It’s lightweight and so easy to carry. Very worth the money!

I have recently started using video as part of my marketing for my business. I wanted a camera that could be set up and left in place for me to film simple videos (Head and shoulders talking direct to camera), rather than having to keep setting up my phone.I thought this camera looked like it had the specs I needed and was excited to get it. However, from the moment I started trying to use it, clearly it is not the same specs as suggested in the description. The video is so noisy! It looks a mobile phone video from a decade ago. I have tried all sorts of lighting conditions, I have researched endlessly on google to find solutions to adjust the settings, none of it has really improved the quality to an acceptable level. It certainly isn't HD.The microphone is passable, but at anything more than 1m it loses quality significantly. When the camera is plugged in whilst recording, there is a constant buss noise over the video.I am very disappointed, but having not tested it as soon as it arrived (I was setting up a 'studio') it is now too late to get a return, making me even more frustrated. A total waste of £80, and now I don't have the funds to buy an alternative.

Poor quality recorder, esp when you use the digital zoom, I sent it back and bought one which has x10 optical zoom, much better. Sound on ext mic was good but didn't try int mic so cannot commentOverall, in my opinion, poor quality

Really good purchase for my channel, good quality audio and picture. Also takes good photos, very light and easy to set up with Tripod and light and mic

Seemed good value, basic budget camera but I wanted it to capture presentations involving the use of PC projector onto a standard screen & a PC onto a TV screen. Both screens in the video just showed as a "bright" block of white light. I tried all the settings but every time nothing. My Mobile phone video captured all the slide images with no problem.
