I was pretty skeptical, but these work beautifully! I used the boiling water method, and they turned out as smooth as can be. I held onto the edges with the top close to the cork and dipped the top 1 inch into the water fur a second so that it grabbed the butter, then I let go of the wrapper and dunked it fully in the water and waited 3 seconds.

Use these to rebottle some liquor and it was perfect. Looked so original. Easy to use. I used a hairdryer to make them shrink down and it was perfect. No leaks what so ever. Perfect size

Awesome product , got our alcohol on the cruise with no problems ๐. Took a few tries , but it finally worked with boiling hot water poured over the cap really fast

The caps shrink on quickly and easily with the lowest setting of my heat gun. Waving the gun a bit while turning the bottle does the job. However, the metal foil that sits on top of the cap does not shrink and, as a result, separated from the bottle on 2 of the first four bottles that I treated this way. I had to redo them and was careful to not point any heat on the top the 2nd time. Update after the 2nd batch: much better if you do it right. My fingers covered the top and I avoided getting near it with the heat gun. The caps shrunk on nicely his time and there were no fails and redos. See video.

I use with either a heat gun or torch and they do great. One thing I noticed is to start from the bottom and work your way up. Once you heat up there top you will notice the little foil circle on top get a little distorted, just smack it down with the palm of your hand and all is good. (It will not be hot)
