This is not a COMPLETE monitoring system. This product does not include a critically important part - the lancing device.Since I am a beginner and did not know any better, I opted to purchase everything I needed in a kit. I felt totally stupid when I kept trying to figure out how to make it work. Only after reading the manual did I find the information that I needed a lancing device which is sold separately. I had to buy a lancing device for $15.00 more. So it is not a complete system. The product listing page does not say anything like "lance not included. I don't know how good or bad the rest of the kit is because I can't use it yet.

This "kit" does not include a needle pricker. No way to obtain a blood sample. They tell you the Kit includes everything you need. FLAT OUT LIE!

Did not receive lancing unit in box ? No way to check blood sugars without that device for lancets to go in????

Exactly what I needed. Reliable and easy to use.

I purchased this meter to test my blood sugar at home as I'm pregnant and needed to test for gestational diabetes, so I chose this one due to the low price.My numbers were showing slightly high for two months and I was told I would need to start insulin in the next month if the numbers didn't improve. Then I read about this brand being less accurate and not recommended. I purchased the Contour Next meter (the most highly recommended for accuracy) and tested for a week with both meters at once.The ReliOn meter was, every time, 10-20 points higher than Contour Next. My numbers are actually safe for pregnancy and I almost had a dangerous change in my and my baby's health due to the inaccurate numbers this meter provided. Absolutely do not recommend this meter.
