Alvarado Street Bakery Organic California Style Complete Protein Bread, 24 Ounce, 3 pk

I think this bread is very expensive, $39 for three loaves. But it’s so wonderful on my digestion. And it’s hard to find since covid, and I didn’t particularly want to go into the grocery store over the past few months, certainly not the co-op. Also prices have just soared anyway, even in the stores, for groceries. So I suppose this is a new normal. I’m not a big carb person, and I don’t eat sugar or flour since learning about bright line eating, and it triggers my thyroid. I actually don’t suffer after eating this bread, either in my energy levels or in my belly/digestion so this is a small miracle. I gave one loaf to my mom. I ate one over the past month and just today opened the third. If you don’t eat bread every day it’s worth having as a treat, even though it’s expensive. I put butter, sugar free “hunny” & cinnamon on it and it was wonderful. Then I wrapped up some fat free cheese, tuna & fat free mayo and had it with sugar free pickles. Definitely a treat and absolutely no indigestion.

I love this variety of Alvarado St. Bakery bread! I previously purchased their organic sprouted wheat with flax and chia, which was fabulous. This one also has great flavor, texture and nutrition, but with fewer calories and no agave syrup. I originally purchased this online during the coronavirus quarantine, but I'm going to continue to buy it as my everyday bread. I live in a rural area, so it's worth the high price to purchase it on Amazon. Shipping is really fast with FedEx, and it's packaged well.

New to sprouted bread, we are trying to eat healthier and a new not diet as much as metabolism booster regimen and new to new ways of eating and new foods and this bread is incredible. It arrived packaged great and fresh and we put some in freezer and family loves it. Taste and texture great.

This is our favorite bread -- has been for years; but our local supermarket no longer carries it so we order it from you. It costs quite a bit more to order on line than to buy in a supermarket. That is the down side.

This product is available from the bakery for $4 per loaf plus shipping. At $39.99 they have obviously including shipping in the price. Amazon, I do not appreciate this. Can I trust you on other Prime No Shipping items. No games please.

I am SO glad I found this bread on here. I live in a rural small town that has little to no sprouted breads, that don’t involve traveling an hour or more for. This stuff is fresh and SO good. I’ll be getting more soon

39.99 a loaf ??? Is that right?

It’s really healthy, taste a little like rye or pumpernickel bread, it’s thin sliced no problem and a little dry, but fine by me I toast it anyway! So all in all I like it!
