Guide Gear Oversized XXL Rocking Camp Chair, 600-lb. Capacity, Green/Black

I'm a VERY big guy, tipping the scales at 515 pounds and only 5' 10" tall. It was becoming increasingly difficult to attend outdoor functions at friends houses because of small outdoor chairs with arms on them.This chair has exceeded all my expectations after searching for quite some time for a good outdoor chair. I was not a fan of the soft material camping chairs that were very difficult to get in and out of and would often hurt while sitting in them.All of those concerns are gone now as this is one of the most sturdy chairs I've ever sat in. Its very easy to get in and out of. Comfortable on the back of my legs and extremely wide. I actually still have room on my sides which is rare. The rocking feature is a nice bonus, albeit it something I wasn't necessarily shopping for.The chair does fold up nice, but it does take up quite a bit of space still and it is fairly heavy. Those cons though are outweighed by all the pros and would gladly recommend this chair to any big guys out there that struggle with conventional outdoor seating that just isn't made for us.

I only wished this came in girly colors.I love this chair. I am a large woman and have searched for years for a comfortable chair.I have had a few and my Zero Gravity reclining chair was great for the last 8 years but hard to get out of. I need height so it's not hard on the kneesThis is the roomiest chair I have ever had. Plenty of room to shift about and not feel snug.The height of the seat is perfect as I am 5'4" and chairs are either to high or to low. This was just right, said momma bear.The fact that it rocks isca wondergul treat. I love to rock and it will make it easier to put my feet up as it leans back safely.It is lighter weight than you would think. I had no problem handling it.It locks nicely for transporting and easy to snap in and out for stability.This is a very sturdy chair. I am over 300. It says 600 and most likely it will... I like insurance.The back is high enough to rest your head and take a nap. Very comfortable

I was so looking for a rocking chair for big guys and I was skeptical about buying this chair, but I pulled the trigger and bought it and I don’t regret it one bit…BEST chair I’ve ever owned and it easy to set up and tear down and it’s not heavy at all. I love the high back and head rest as well as the WIDE seat…$179 was a little steep price wise but it’s a quality chair and definitely one I’d recommend for Big fellas.

I finally found one! YAY!So, I'm a very large guy, and finding a folding chair that will not only support my weight, but also make me feel SECURE that its not going to explode on me and leave me on the ground, is so refreshing I think I cried when I sat down in it.Yes, these are VERY large(folded and unfolded), yes these are kinda heavy. But man oh man does the foundation feel sturdy and strong. No wobble or swaying or hint that its going to collapse. And holy crap is it W I D E. The canvas makes a little noise along the top back bar when I sit down in it. Its new so maybe a little stretching is in order there. The finish is excellent. The comfort is good. I feel a little leaned forward when sitting in it, but its not bad. The fold out and up is fast, easy and smooth. The locking lever that holds it folded up is a little cheesy, but does the job.This is early in my ownership of this chair so things may loosen, my opinion may change but for now, for the money, I AM VERY VERY HAPPY!

Quite crickety, not at all rickety. Noise to rival the screaming cicadas. Sliding mechanism for folding/unfolding works quite well. Stuck a bit with sand, but what folding chair doesn't. Will likely oil it up like the lads from Jersey shore. Little latch on arm made for frustrating first 2 min, but nice feature. Some built in backpack or shoulder straps would go a long way. But such a solid piece we piled everything on top of it like a stretcher and toted like that.

I have been looking for a large camping chair to use outdoors. I came across this one on Amazon and took a risk… it definitely is worth every penny!! I’m a big guy and struggle to find comfortable chairs. This one is big and solid!! It’s a rocker and very comfortable!!I love this chair and only wish there were other colors but it’s a great chair for us big guys!!

Definitely oversized and heavy duty, but with that comes weight. This chair is huge and heavy. I bought for camping and to sit on my patio but probably won't take it camping because of its size. Its almost to big for me. I'm 5'4 250lbs and I have all sorts of room. The top of my head is even with the top of chair when I'm sitting in it. It's easy to sit in and easy to get up. I like that it has a a to tip over bar. It does cut into the back of my thighs a bit when im sitting. I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable chair but like I said its probably to big for me.

I'm a big gal - over 300 lbs and wear a pants size 22/24 (I've got wider than average backside too) so a chair that wasn't going to squeeze and pinch was really important to me for camping & relaxing on our patio.I waited for far too long to actually purchase this chair and wish now that I'd bought it when I first considered. THIS THING IS AMAZING. I have room to sit with my small dog next to me (shih tzu) and STILL be comfortable! It's tall enough that it's easy to get out of, when folded it has a lock to keep it together and the curved legs help it avoid sinking into the dirt when camping.I rarely write reviews, but as someone of size that reads reviews RELIGIOUSLY to make sure the product will accommodate, I couldn't pass up the chance to encourage you to buy this chair if you're sick of the crappy folding chairs that rip and sink into the dirt!
