Weight of Oranges & Miner's Pond

Stunning and wonderful. I had high expectations after reading Fugitive Pieces - one of the greatest novels I have ever read - and these were fully met. It is deep, often dark but life-affirming. It is not an easy read - a set of poems to be immersed in: each reading gives me a little more understanding and a lot more appreciation. These poems are on the same level as Eliot's Four Quartets - I can think of no higher praise
