they dont burn very well

I made 100% soy container candles and these wicks were a FAIL, even for small votives. The cotton burns off too quickly leaving a burned wire exposed. The wick burns down too quickly to effectively develop a melt pool which means the wick quickly disappears in a tiny melted hole. I even tried adding extra wicks in the larger containers with the same disappointing result. Not sure if they work with paraffin candle wax? But for 100% soy? >>>> DON'T BUY.

I am an amature candle maker, my first few candles turned out well (they did not throw) but these wicks seemed to do the trick. I used small mason jars and they burned evenly and they also stayed lit. Im confused as to how the other reviewers got such poor results!

These are the worst wicks that I have ever used. The flame stays at the minimum level and often goes out. I am now using two wicks per jar to see if I have more success. I ordered 5 packages, therefore just trying to utilize all of the remaining. I will never purchase these particular ones again. Will stick with the Helix.
