I just returned from my 2nd two week trip with this backpack. I came online to order another one in a different size bcs I love this one so much and was shocked to see it was labeled “frequently returned item!” That spurred me to write a review! I do not think this backpack would substitute for someone looking for a traditional backpack. But it was PERFECT for my needs. It is extremely lightweight. It holds sooo much! It held a large purse, 2 tablets, 2 water bottles, snacks, and a large foam roller for my back. (I use it as my personal item when flying.) It has front pockets for easy access to passports, phone, etc. It folds down to nothing if u want to throw it in ur suitcase. I have carried it all day and it served its purpose but it is not ideal bcs the shoulder straps r thinly padded. I can’t do a regular backpack bcs they r too heavy and hurt my neck. This caused me no neck problems wearing it all day. Just shoulder discomfort. Despite overstuffing mine multiple times the material and zippers have held up perfectly. I’ve already ordered another one in a different size so I’ll have more options!

Looks great! We've unfolded and re-folded the backpack -- very easy to do! The straps are adjustable, and the zippers on the pack glide smoothly. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear, and very versatile. It holds a lot -- sunscreen, sunglasses, a windbreaker, bug repellent -- all with lots of room to spare. We love that you can use it one day, then fold it up into its self-attached pocket, zip it shut, put it in your suitcase, and travel on to the next destination! Very convenient, and ready to unfold for the next day's adventures. Well thought out and designed. Love it.

I wasted way too much time reading reviews of this and similar bags on here. I ended up going with this one, which looked practically identical to another bag with more reviews that cost a few dollars more. I have to say, so far I'm happy with my purchase. A few things that I wondered about that you might possibly care about: (1) Size when packed -- this is small, but it isn't going to fit in your pocket. A few bags sold on here will fit in your pocket, but given the quality and comfort of this bag, it's really small. It's a great bag to take with you on a vacation or elsewhere inside of another bag (2) Size when unpacked -- this isn't a full size, huge backpack, but it is totally fine for your likely uses. I'm tall, and this fits fine, both in how it feels and how it looks. I wouldn't be likely to use it as an everyday bag, but it isn't a tiny little kids bag by any means in my opinion. I took it on a hike and it fit two water bottles (in the side pouches), a few layers of clothing, a small amount of camera equipment, wallet, etc. without being anywhere near full. (3) Very light, little structure of its own. Wasn't an issue for me, but you notice it when you put a water bottle in just one side. (4) The pocket that it folds into turns into an interior pouch that is perfect for your wallet, phone, etc. (5) Pretty easy to stuff back into itself I don't know how well it will hold up long term, but so far, so good

I intend to send it back. I don't care for the material but it has other good features. One thing is that inside the main compartment, there is no dividing piece of fabric. Sometimes such a divider is meant to enable you to divide some items inside the backpack but then the divider can get in the way. The main compartment opens wide which is always a plus. The zippers feel good and strong. The material is a bit "plushy" than firm for me but not bad and actually it makes it much easier to stuff the backpack into its small carry pouch (also pull out the backpack from the carry pouch) , but is not what I am looking for as far a material. It is good that the carry pouch is attached to the backpack so it does not become separated from the rest of the backpack. The backpack has a common design. The smaller zip pocket is OK. I would recommend it but it can depend on your needs and preferences.

100% had to leave a review how awesome this backpack worked for our family in Europe. Each member of our family was allowed to bring a carry on and a backpack for their luggage. But, we needed something for everyday use while we traveled to various sites, not a large carryon backpack. Enter this sweet little bag. It folded up nice and compact into our luggage and was extremely useful for day to day travel. It was very comfortable on my husband’s shoulders and could house a surprising amount of stuff! Sweatshirts, water bottles, snacks, first aid kit, you name it, we packed it in there. We went to several museums and tourist spots and none had a problem with the size of this bag. Also, one museum required (for security purposes) my husband to wear the backpack forward on the front side of his body, but he had no complaints that it was uncomfortable. The backpack held up incredibly well throughout our two weeks. It was perfect and can’t wait to use it again!

I have used this on 2 trips. Folds very small for storage and in the suitcase. Nice compartments, adjustable straps, lightweight, 2 side water bottle holders.

I’ve purchased this backpack multiple times in different colors. It’s great if you are going to need a lightweight bag for a day or two, especially while traveling. However, if your main purpose is hiking, you will want a sturdier bag with more support and more features. If you need something to stuff into a suitcase and use occasionally, this is perfect. All the fun colors are a bonus.

Love my new back pack. Super light, easy to fold up into its own pocket when not needed. Good quality reasonably priced. Good value

This bag is well made, stitching and zippers don't seem like they will fall apart without a decent amount of abuse. The dimensions stated on the listing are a bit optimistic though. If you NEED the stated size, it but be worth opting for the larger version instead. This is still big enough for my needs though, it just looks like I'm wearing a kids bag when I'm using it :)
