Value Priced 6volt Solar Charger
This is one of the very few value priced, modest output, solar chargers that is also 6 volt---the popular 6 volt batteries widely available at T/S, online, etc. & typically last about 4 seasons. Some of the 4 volt solar chargers have similar to maybe higher prices and have such low output ratings that they may be suspect keeping deer out, critters away. My prior nearly identical Dare charger lasted just under eight years charging about 200 feet of usually clear veggie garden fence about seven months per year. The DS 20 unit has a good slid lever for off, charge only, & full operation. The +/- hookups are nicely positioned at the bottom to keep the wires from hanging across the solar panels and the face of the unit.
