Doesn't look anything like the picture. instructions all in Chinese. No glue .the stand is nothing like the advertised one..not very easy to put together it's ok for an adult but for younger a no no..parts were missing ..not enough sail material.and no instructions on how to cut sails..definatly not worth buying ..I found it easier to papermache the bottom side of the ship then paint with acrilic ...looks ok for what I want ..but give it a miss peeps not worth it

Quite difficult to assemble - poor instructions - but good fun, with impressive results. Would happily buy again!

The instructions were in asian hyroglyphics, some parts were wrongly marked or not at all, there was no template for the sails in fact it was like trying to do a jigsaw puzzle with 1/3 of the parts blank. Not happy at all.

Purchased this kit as reasonably priced and wanted to build a adult model ship If this is your first model ship leave very much alone .There are no written instructions what so ever just 4 or 5 pictures with a few arrows and that is it There is no rhyme or reason to the lay out of the pieces on the boards one piece of the model may have the part needed to build it on 2 different boards making it very confusing The Quality of the wood used is extremely flimsy so even with Lasor cutting trying to remove the small parts without breaking them is extremely difficult. That coupled with the lack of instructions make this a very frustrating build. That being said you get what you pay for and having built this model I would say that if you know what your doing then you would probably make a better job of it than I did but I would not recommend for a beginner mainly because of the lack of step by step instructions. Pros Cheap kit to learn on so no huge economic loss when you bin it because its not fit for display Cons very poor quality wood and absolutely no instructions

Just awful. This isn't for beginners at all. No pattern for the sails, not enough string, very flimsy wood. The picture instructions aren't clear and do not say how many of each piece (for the cannons) you need to make. Difficult to put together even with experience in building many wooden projects. Honestly the pound shop sells better quality wooden projects then this.

There is parts missing so I was wondering if I could have a full refund has it was a present for my grandson please my refund has not even put in my bank yet has the package has been returned to the post office for collection

Pues para el precio que tiene , las piezas estan perfectamente cortadas , las instrucciones son pobres pero hay mucha informacion en internet sobre el modelo Harvey 1847. Me he divertido mucho construyendolo informandome sobre el modelo y añadiendole detalles . Me asombra la perfeccion del corte de algunas piezas...

La maquette est très jolie mais très fragile donc à ne pas mettre dans les mains de débutants pas d’explication en français. DOMMAGE Je suis très patient mais par moment j’ai envie de tout laisser tomber sans le plan (écrit en FRANÇAIS) le travail à effectuer est très difficile

Nichts für Anfänger,man sollte sich mit sämtlichen Baukomponenten im hist. Schiffbau auskennen, ebenfalls wie die Takelage installiert wird. Ein sehr gutes und günstiges Produkt für den erfahrenen Modellbaubauer mit Wissen hist. Schiffsmodelle. Absolut empfehlenswert!
