Excellent replacement for WetTimes Bathroom clock
This clock replaces our Salton WetTimes bathroom clock which worked beautifully for 20 years. It is very similar in style and function. Gaskets seem of good quality and should work well to keep bathroom moisture out of the clock works. It is a very attractive yet simple clock, and the sweep second hand is completely silent, which is a nice touch. Coming out of the box, it appeared small, but it is exactly the same diameter as the WetTimes clock, and does not protrude from the wall as much. On the wall it is easy to read, and an excellent size for our average sized bathroom. There are no markings telling you which way to put an AA battery in the clock, but once I figured that out, the clock ran perfectly. I am very pleased with this replacement for the WetTimes clock, and I am hopeful it will hold up as well.

I really love this clock
I really love this clock and I'm so happy I got it. I needed a new bathroom clock after my old one finally decided to die a slow death. I looked at several on the site. I wanted a simple, easy to read, moisture proof clock...and it had to be silent. My bathroom is right next to my bedroom and although the ticking of the old clock didn't bother me most of the time, on the nights that I had trouble sleeping, that ticking might as well have been a jackhammer! So annoying. The dimensions on this are smaller than my old one, so I was a bit wary that it might be too small. I was wrong. It's the perfect size. It looks much better than the old one. I've had it a couple of months and it has not lost any time, runs silently, looks nice, clean and simple and is super clear to read. It's everything I had hoped for. My Amazon purchases have been hit or miss lately, but this one is definitely a winner.

Waterproof, accurate and easy to read
Excellent craftsmanship. I hung this up inside my shower to make sure I didn't loose track of time during my morning shower getting ready for work. Easy to see even from outside of the bathroom. Never fogs up or gets water vapor inside the faceplate. Keeps perfect time. What else is there to say? Definitely worth the few extra bucks.UPDATE: After owning this one year it still works and looks like new! Only had to change the batteries once, and it still keeps perfect time. No water vapor ever inside the faceplate, and I often take HOT and LONG showers.

Warranty? Accuracy?
Overall, I like this clock but have a couple of issues regarding it.Like other reviewers have already stated, the clock is silent and it is easy to see. However, why did the manufacturer make it so difficult to see the proper insertion method for the AA battery? Why couldn't the positive side have been marked with a white label? (I guessed correctly how to insert it.) Hopefully, the mechanism cannot be damaged by inserting the battery incorrectly but I don't know if that's the case. How long will an alkaline battery last in this clock? What about a lithium battery? This leads me to my next issue...The clock came with no documentation. Yes, I know this is just a clock and it is not difficult to operate. But, what happens if the battery is inserted backwards? Also, what is the warranty on the clock? Does it have a warranty? What do I do if it fails in six months? What is the accuracy specification for the clock? (How much time will it gain or lose in 30 days?)Hopefully, this proves to be a reliable timepiece but I find it odd that a clock of this cost does not seem to have any support behind it.

A Worthy Clock for Any Watercloset. A Trusty Timepiece for any Toilet.
The strange thing is, you don't know what you got 'til it's gone. Wait a minute, didn't Cinderella have something to say about this? The truth is, our bathroom clock finally bit it after years of faithful service. He will be missed. What a thankless job. Being a bathroom clock, that is. Of all the rooms in a house getting stuck on the wall of a bathroom has to be the bottom of the barrel for a clock, right? It's steamy, dark most of the time, and, quite frankly, a bit of a nose-pincher. You can't just put any clock in there. Our last clock, which looked almost identical to this one, did the job well. It was small, quiet and had one of those o-ring seals on the back to keep the moisture out of the movement. Set it and forget it...or at least until the battery ran out. That's why I was a little depressed when I noticed him starting to slip. At first, it was a minute here and there. It's gotta be the battery, I thought to myself. Then a minute started to turn into 5 and before I knew it the time had come to put him down. I walked into the bathroom only to find the second hand uselessly stuck by the 7, moving slightly as if to say "I've still got some life left in me, don't count me out yet." With a heavy heart I took him down from his perch above the toilet and began my search for another. When I saw this clock I thought, "Wow, it's just like my old one!" I know what you're thinking, it won't be the same. It may look a little similar with its white face and easy-to-read numbers but you'll know. Well, folks, I've gotta tell you, this clock was made for the crapper. It's got the rubber-sealed movement just like my old clock. It's got a washable plastic case - because you're gonna want to wash it every now and then, trust me. It's even got a sweeping, that's right, I said silent sweeping second hand. No more tick tick ticking to drive you Telltale Heart crazy in the middle of the night.I haven't totally forgotten my old clock. It's not like I'm an animal. He will always have a place in my heart. Sure, I could just never buy another bathroom clock because I'm afraid of getting hurt, but we all know that just won't happen. It's just that, well, this clock is nice, too. They say time heals all wounds. It's a little early for me to prove out this axiom, that cut still hurts. What I do know is this clock will help me to move on.
