Does this product fit a 32 ounce/1 quart wide mouth nalgene bottle so that I will not spill and it will not fall out?

Yes, it fits a 32 ounce/1 liter Nalgene "wide mouth" water bottle perfectly. It will not fall out. It clicks into place when inserted into the bottle mouth. It is possible to push it all the way into the bottle but is easy to extract by holding it sideways. Under normal use it will stay where it is supposed to.
