Pace Setter 70-1327 Black Shorty Exhaust Header

I baught this item and had them professionally installed. The ball flanges leak really bad so exhaust shop had to cut them off and put new ones on. Good product but be prepared to spend a little extra cash on new flanges.

These do in fact fit a 1998 Ford 5.4 engine. I had purchased another brand advertised as such and did not fit. If you are building a Ford 2v 5.4 engine, I recommend these headers, but you should upgrade the gasket set. You will likely need to use one or two of the included bolts for clearance, rather than the studs. You may also benefit from installing the headers after the block is installed, they stick out more than the factory manifold and it is a tight squeeze putting that engine in anyway. I painted mine with ceramic high temp exhaust paint over the factory coating. I'll update if that painting method fails.

A good local exhaust shop tried for some time to add the EGR tube to no avail. It was off by 3-4 degrees and nothing would fit together. Right side was difficult but fit fine once installed. Had to go with a new oem manifolds and these became paperweights, so basically useless. I would return them if I could

Not a bad product. Easy to install. But my gaskets came ripped. Gaskets are junk paper anyway. Went to auto parts store got way better quality ones.

The media could not be loaded.  Sounds mean

Did noi fit directly into the same spot as the exhaust manifolds. Had to cut and modify 1 side to make them fit

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT KNOWING WHAT OTHERS SAID ABOUT THE PAINT BEING ON HERE AND THAT IT WAS GARBAGE, BUT THEY STATED THAT THE HEADERS WERE OKAY. WHEN I RECEIVED THESE IN THE MAIL, THEY LOOKED HORRIBLE AS FAR AS THE WELDS AND THE CRAPPY PAINT. WENT TO INSTALL THEM AND WHAT A REAL PAIN IN THE A$$ IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE PLACEMENT OF THE BASE AND THE WAY THE TUBES WERE BENT TO FIT. HAD THEM ON MY TRUCK FOR A MONTH AND THE CRAPPY WELDS THAT PACESETTER PUT IN PLACE, HAS CRACKED. NOW I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE DIFFICULT PROCESS OF TAKING THE ONE SIDE OFF AND HAVING IT RE-WELDED (PROPERLY OF COURSE) THEN RE-INSTALLED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE HEADERS

Installed them on 2001 Ford F-150, fit right into place with no big issues
